Burger Heaven. I just discovered this place, I live 5 minutes away and all the time I thought it was only smoothie place, I love this place, I have eaten the burger so far about 15 times inthe last three weeks, it is just flat out the best burger in Houston.

I tried the chicken pasta which also was pretty good and big. my goal this week to try the chicken pita

Price wise it is very good for the qulaity I am getting.

Parking is tough around lunch hours but I manage to find one every time.

In short, nice employees, great food, good prices.

I love this place, best dinner in town.. I will tell you I have had many panckes and tacoes at many restaurants in Houston and other cities, I just think it is the best, they cook it fresh while you waite, the panckes are so spongy, it is great.

My wife and I like to go to the Island ( that is what we call it ) for breakfast and dinner. the Dinner is great, I had the Angus Beef NY strip steak with fries and bread 12.99, what a deal, it was mouth watering, my wife had the Salmon over rice which she finished the whole plate, does not happen that often, I just think for breakfast and dinner this is the place to eat.

Great smoothie & good food. I wanted to go somewhere where they had healthy food but wasn't a tofu place. I found this on this website and liked they had all natural smoothies. I had the chicken marsala and my boyfriend had the chicken pita. It was great food. Serivice could have been better cause it was our 1st time there. But we didn't have to wait long and smoothies were awesome.

Great food, better smoothies and great service. I was introduced to the food and drinks at Smoothie Island through a friend and got to know the owner Faysal about 4 years ago. I've been eating there regularly ever since. For lunch or dinner, I like the California Fish pita or the veggie platter, but I can say that I have eaten and enjoyed almost everything on the menu. For breakfast, I recommend the egg-white omlett with salmon. Everything is fresh and cooked to your liking everytime. The smoothies are healthy and delicious. Just ask Faysal or any of his staff if you have a question about the nutritional value of any smoothie or food item on the menu.

Lunch hour is very busy at Smoothie Island, but the owner Faysal makes it a point to greet you by your name if he's there and ensures his staff are taking care of you. Whether you're in a rush during lunch hour or have ample time on the weekend, the atmosphere at the restaurant is quite relaxed and family-friendly. Whether you're in your work clothes, street clothes or in gym clothes, there's always a place for you at Smoothie Island. The customers are often friendly, so don't worry about going alone. Just sit and eat at the bar, and you'll always hear a good story or participate in a good conversation.

Great food and smoothies... great service.

Friendly Restaurant! Excellent Food!. I was truly impressed by the warmth this restaurant offered, along with great food! Island Juice Bar & Grill must have a very loyal clientele because the owner, Faysal, greeting many of the guests by name. I had the Hanover Platter, which had Humus, Tabuleh, Avocado, and Chicken dressed with mushrooms, onions and walnuts. It was absolutely delicious! This Houston restaurant offers a rare combination of excellent food and gracious service. This is definitely now one of my favorite restaurants. I WILL be going back. Highly recommended. Oh? and did I mention they have awesome healthy smoothies?

Great smoothies, smiling employees, awesome pitas. Great place to eat. Been going about once a week now for a couple months and the main thing i love is the consistency in my food. I usually get a strawberry smoothie with a chicken pita. Both have always been delicious and always enjoy chatting with the staff while I wait. Foods always hot and drinks always cold. I read through all the reviews and will have to agree with all of them. Parking is really a pain when its busy, but according to citysearch they deliver now so that may help. Also I was concerned similar to someone on here regarding the tomatoes. I talked to the owner and he told me sysco imports their tomatoes off the east coast so thats why he decided to continue serving them. So besides all that my only complaint would be the floors been dirty with some food twice when Ive came in. Also it was pretty hot inside when it was busy. O and a plus would also be how my son gets to play video games while I eat. So overall good place to eat.

it reminded me of NYC. I have been coming to this place for 4 years now since I moved from NYC, I really like this place, the noise, the kids, it is a tight place but the food is great, and the employees behind the counter are very nice, the owner Fasil is very funny and you can tell loves his customers.

I almost tried everyhting on the menu, my best pick is the chicken pita and the NRG smoothie, but the rest are great also, I like the fact they cook with extra vergin olive oil.

I tried the Celery, Apple, tomato, Carrot, Parsley Juice which is done right infront of you, it was good.

I will be back again and again.

NICE PEOPLE,AND AWSOME FOOD!. I went 3 days ago (about my 9th time ), the food was great as usual, the employees were very friendly and made me feel like I have known them for years.I had the salmon dinner, which was excellent!I also ordered a smoothie called the Lance Burkman named after the famous baseball player;I loved it! My friend was with me and ordered the Island Salad with chicken, she ate it all.

The owner came twice to make sure everything was Ok.

I loved this place ,I will be coming back for sure.

"Soup N*zi"- Sienfeld. I tried it about 1 year ago, liked the food but was dissapointed by the lack of customer service. I went back a second time giving them another chance, but again I thought I was ordering from the "soup n*zi" -Sienfeld Episode! I went back this last time-(1 yr later) and found a consistency in the lack of customer service. They couldn't give me a total for my to-go order, no communication at my pick up, had to ask for receipt and drink holder for my multiple drinks- had to carry far to my car, bc of no close parking. Got to work with my order, which had raw tomatoes that the Texas HLTH DEPT has advised not to sell because of s*lmonella outbreak. When I called to ask what tomatoes they were sreving, they were not even sure of the outbeak, but said "you don't have to eat it if you don't want to". Then asked ME what tomatoes were affected. I told them I wanted my money back and would bring the food back bc I didn't want to get sick. When I walked in, I was pointed out and yelled at by the owner who denied anything wrong with product. So I gave him the article from the Texas HLTH Department showing him he was offering a possible contaminated product, but he pushed it aside. If he doesn't care about the health of his customers, I certainly do not recommend stepping into that establishment.
