I always saw the Pampered Poodle sign for years driving down Westheimer but never paid much attention until I got really tired of bathing/grooming my Pomeranian all by myself. I called, set an appointment and I expected to encounter an uptight atmosphere with a groomer that might tell me what he can and cannot do for my dog, (that's what I hear a lot about other places) but was extremely surprised! Leo the groomer is also the owner and he is very laid-back and LOVES dogs! I was very relaxed when I met him and so was my dog. That's very important to me that my dog is happy when arriving and even happier when I pick her up. I recommend this shop to anyone who likes their dog to have personalized, CONSISTENT service.
Pros: Very consistent grooming work every time. My dog is happy there.

I am extremely particular about where and with whom I leave my dog. He is my baby and I won't leave him anywhere that I don't feel completely comfortable. I took my dog to the Pampered Poodle and felt very comfortable leaving him there. It was clean and Leo was very nice. He cut my dog exactly how I asked and called me to come pick him up in just a couple of hours. Overall a good experience and I will be returning.
Pros: convenient- I called and made an appointment for the very next day
Cons: a little more pricey than where I usually take him
