Very good service. I have taken many items to Marcellos in the Galleria over the years and have always been very pleased. The last time I took in several pair of jeans, one pair came back cut off too short. They were extremely professional and repaired the jeans. I could not believe it! They do the fastest work you could imagine if you need it fast. They do great work. If they make a mistake, they will bend over backwards to fix it or to make it up to you someway. They do a great deal of business and when you think about it - sometimes there are mistakes - no matter what the service is. I will continue going to them and refer friends and family to them as well. They are reasonably priced especially if you need it back the next day (they do not charge more for rush alterations). They are great people and I am even more impressed with their work as the years go by. I am surprised by a few of the negative reviews because I have been going to them for over 15 years. Their customer service and work product is excellent! They have never let me down. They always make me so happy I used them for alterations.

Love these girls!. I take all of my alterations here. These sisters are amazing at adjusting all of my needs. They take their time and make sure it is right! If I need it fast, they can do it. Their prices are reasonable too. It's very convenient too after shopping to stop by and customize your clothes! I totally disagree with the previous negative posts! They have never let me down! :)

Marcello's Alterations ruined my $2000 Jacket !. Beware of Marcello's Alterations! I purchased a gorgeous $2000 jacket from an upscale store in the Galleria. It was taken to Marcello's Alterations for some minor adjustments in the arm length and for a few inches to be taken in along the back. They did an absolutely horrible job on the jacket. When I tried it on for the first time after being altered, my arm went inside the silk lining of one of the sleeves, meaning that they either forgot to sew the silk lining closed, or they sewed the inner lining closed in a way that would easily come apart. I begged the store not to take it back to Marcello's Alterations again. After speaking with the head of Marcellos about this problem, he dismissed it as though it was no big deal simply by saying that people make mistakes. I replied by saying, "Sure, but this was careless work that you did to a $2000 jacket." Be careful with this place, because I guarantee that they WILL ruin your nice clothes. After speaking with some people I know in retail, I later came to find out that Marcellos has recently gained a reputation for doing careless, rushed work, resulting in mistakes similar to those found in my $2000 jacket. Marcellos has people doing the alterations who have little to no experience, and you can see it in their work. After looking at how bad of a job they did on my jacket, and speaking with their horrible employees, I can assure you of this--> I dislike Marcello's Alterations so much, that I wouldn't get anything altered there even if they were the only alterations company on the planet. I would rather wear oversized clothes than watch them ruin another beautiful designer piece. These aren't just jackets, they are works of art, and Marcello's Alterations will slaughter them!

They will alter your clothes however they want to. They are rude, rush you, dont care to listen or discuss what you would like to do with your clothes/alterations. I asked for them to put cuffs on my pants and I hate flat bottoms when I came back. They dont listen and then imply it was my fault they did them wrong when I cleary said what I wanted. The only reason I went there in the first place is because I needed alterations done ASAP on a Sunday and they were the only place open. I will be taking my suit to my real tailor so she can fix what they are incapable to doing,

Never lets us down! Wouldn't trust anyone else w/our clothes. Never have had a single problem with any clothes altered.

*can make any blazer, jeans, dresses, wedding gowns, etc. fit perfectly to our requests.

*always treated with great customer service

*can trust the decisions they make or ideas to better the clothing

*pricing is very reasonable & work done is always exceptional, & if not, they will fix anything you are unhappy about

MARCELLO NO LONGER WORKS THERE!!!. I had a terrible experience with them when I was getting several pairs of jeans and dress pants hemmed. I asked for French hems, which means that both the original bottoms of the jeans, AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL STITCHING, are re-attached to the shortened jeans. Well, not only did my altered jeans not have the original stitching, but the replacement stitching looked like a pre-schooler had sewn them - not a single straight line was stitched, the lines were up and down, loose threads, open seams. They were so bad that I had to wait to have them all redone. Also, the dress pants were supposed to be hemmed (one pair was much too short and had to be redone), but also were supposed to have the pockets taken out and stitched closed, which they forgot to do, so I had to wait for that as well. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! P.S. MARCELLO DOES NOT EVEN WORK THERE ANYMORE!!!

Fantastic Alterations. Marcello's has done many of my slacks and expensive jeans (200$ and up). They have done a great job every time. I have even had them completely rebuild a Burberry button down shirt that came out phenomenal. The shop attendants are a bit short, but it's only because they are so busy. Certainly the best thing is the location, where else can you walk over from your favorite shop and drop your clothes off to be custom fit. Best shop in town!

Worst nightmare. I had worst ever laundry services experience and it was with Marcello’s. Not only have they ruined my 220 $ dress (discoloration of the fabric and lost buttons), but the guy working there was very rude to me.

I would not recommend to anyone to make their dry cleaning at Marcello’s! They make mistakes and don’t want to be responsible for them.

Below average work and very poor service.. They do an average job, which makes their work slightly over priced. Work was not done when promised; actually they had not even started it yet. They did apologize and promised my jacket to me by the end of the day. I was grateful for at least that gesture but it did make another trip to the mall, where parking sometimes can be an adventure.

Since they are the only ones that do alterations in the close proximity, perhaps if I was not in a hurry I might use them again. I am not sure if I would recommend then to anyone and if I did it would be with severe caution.

I really think it would be worth a little drive to find someone a better.

Horrible customer service. Well i heard about Marcellos through my friend that she recommended for True Religion jeans alterations. I wanted the stitching of the True Religion to be exact so i came there. In about 6-8 months i brought over a dozen designer jeans to be hemmed. Recently I decided to visit there again to get my new jeans hemmed, when i came there to drop off my 2 True Religion jeans i had asked the front clerk to make sure that theres going to be exact stitching and the colored stitching at the ends as well..she said yes it will be the exact stitching just as i want it. I am paying for "special hem" about $18 PER jeans to be altered, i expected them to do a good job. When i came to pick it up the next day the jeans were done right except for the colored stitching at the ends were NOT stitched in. The guy that worked there which i assume is the owner of the store, told me to sit and wait it shall be done shortly. So i sat down and waited for about 40 minutes and i came up and asked politely how much longer it was going to take and he said a few minutes. So i sat down patiently for the next 20 minutes, realizing that a "few minutes" turned out to be almost an hour wait! I came up again and asked politely if the jeans were done yet. He started giving me attitude and was very rude, he was not appreciative for my patience or my time. if i knew it was going to be an hour wait i would have just came back the next day to pick it up instead. I am a returning customer that pays good money to get my expensive jeans hemmed plus i recommend to all my friends to go there and this is the service i get? I am very disappointed at how i was being treated and the disconcern of my time. I will no longer come there for any alterations and will be looking elsewhere that appreciates my business. Their work is ok but their customer service is awful!! they are never friendly or nice. They make it seem as if you owe them to get serviced there HORRIBLE service! I do not recommend anyone to come there.
