I could not ask for better service and a more friendly and helpful staff. I work close by and was told by several co-workers about this place. I went to get my new State Inspection sticker last month and they had me in and out in less than 15 mintues so I could get back to work in a hurry. They sent me two 'thank you" cards for my business.

So today I needed an oil change and went back. Diana, the lady behind the counter is so nice and helpful. She directed me to a deli across the street to get my lunch while they changed my oil. When I got back they were already through (about 15 minutes). They didn't try to up-sale me for unnecessary services and parts like my dealership does and the oil change includes a full service check of fluids, battery, tires, etc. They charged $35 and I have been paying $49 at the dealership.

They have a very clean and comfortable waiting area with magazines, TV, computer stations, food and drinks for free while you wait. The techs are very professional and respectful. It is a great place and I will be continuing to go there for service on my car from now on.

Hold on to your wallet. I discovered Steves one day when looking for a good shop. I rated Steves good because they were staffed well and it was clean. Both factors are a decent way to judge without using them yet. I started small untill I could see if I could trust them They finally got to do a major repair of replacing the Rack and Pinion. It took the 4 days to return the vehicle. Just a little over a year later I was in for an inspection and was informed that the rack and pinion was leaking. I said if it is it's your fault for using inferior products. I suspect they are using rebuilt and charging new prices plus labor. They refused to honor the 1 year warrenty because it was 2 months over. Next I took a 40 year old classic in to have an inspection. They have inspected this multiple times and nothing has changed except upgrades. I was told that the vehicle failed because the parking brake wasn't working and a light in the dash was out. I said adjust the parking brake and replace the bulb. They said that the adjustmet would be $49.00. I said fine. They proceeded and couldn't get enough tension and told me it would need a tubular spacer for $40.00 more dollars. I hit the roof and they quickly backed down. Bottom line in my accessment....OVERPRICED, nasty attitudes by all involved. They have seen the last of me. I was going to send a letter to the owner but I decided not to, he wouldn't post it anywhere like he does with ALL the GREAT reviews.

Sorry Steves, you need to start treating people as friends instead of cash machines.

PS: ALL the good reviews are most likely Steves employees posing as satisfied customers

Beware of Steve's Automotive. Beware of Steve's Automotive. They are rip-off artist and will prey on unsuspecting folks. You will pay for more than needed and then some!

Took my 2002 Honda Civic company vehicle to Steve's Automotive for a head gasket replacement since the cooling system was being pressurized by combustion gasses. They called me later on that day to tell me that the bottom end of the engine is knocking really bad and that they can sell me a replacement engine. I don't think so! The car ran fine and there is nothing wrong with the bottom end.

I arrived at their place to look at my car. I disputed their claim and once they realized that I am a technician and know engines inside out, they tried to cover their tracks.

Steve, the owner, refused service to me with the head gasket job until I got a second opinion from somewhere else. He had a very bad attitude.

I took my vehicle to a Honda dealer and they inspected the motor. They acknowledged that the bottom end is perfectly fine. I went ahead and let the dealer do the head gasket job and have told my company to keep all of our fleet vehicles that normally get serviced at Steve's Automotive to stay away from them. They have lost many loyal customers today.

Honest Mechanic. Honest Mechanic & Fair Prices I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna, i have been visiting Steve Automotive and doing all my maintenance work, freindly right to the point always tells me what is nessesarry first, The cost is reasonable and the owner worked always to make sure i understand all what is done to my Van, and gave me a tip on how better to take care of my vehicle. They also have a cash back program so I got money back on a credit card that I can use for anything i need on my next service. i will recommend Steve Automotive to anyone that wants there work done right.

They do it right!. They do it Right Steve is a great guy,he actualy went out of his way to make sure the repairs are done right, he uses factory parts and make sure the car is diagnosed right the first time. I don't mind paying for his hourly rate when i know it's going to be done right the first time, instead paying cheaper rates and be stuck somewhere in traffic in the horrifying heat. Yes i recommend anyone to bring their cars to Steve Automotive.

Happy Customer. I am happy to have found steve automotive, it is winter time and if it wasn't for steve staff that were kind to tell me to do a flush and change my antifreeze i would have been in troulble like my friend that went to dallas and it froze and his engine block craked, and now he has to spend $4500.00 to fix his car in a small town god knows when he is going to get his parts. sometimes parts may look good but need replacement, so spend a little now instead of an arm and a leg later. Happy Customer.

Best in town. Being a state recognized auto repair facility & emmissions repair facility, it a double wamer. Got my state inspection and they gave me free 14 point inspection. "BEST IN TOWN! I am very pleased with the work Steve and his staff preformed on both of my cars. I took them my wife car and he located the problem, and didnt mind telling me about ways to save me money. He was very honest so I decided to bring my BMW and they did a great job.

Great service, good prices. Great service, good prices -- overall great experience. I have been coming for years and would not trust any other shop to touch my car. I don't know why men and women complain about car prices. Cars now-a-days are so technical -- if you don't like their prices than you're more than welcome going some where else cheap to save a buck and have more headaches along the way. Women also complain about being cheated because they're women-- if that were true than why does Steve hold "Women's Car Care Clinics" free for women helping them know basic parts of a car? Come on people - stop defaming others because you didn't get your way. This is a great store and will continue to recommend others to come here and would never take it elsewhere.
