In The Zone..... Every time I visit... I can hear Rod whispering... 'welcome to a place where time and space have no meaning".

And its just like that: I loose track of time and get lost. But it's all in really good way. Treat it like good food, wine or people... savor and don't rush.

A Little Bit Unreal. Becker's is a house that is almost completely full of books from the floor up to the ceiling. It reminded me a little bit of something out of a movie.

I went to Becker's to kill some time one evening and wanted to spend hours looking at everything they had. There are vintage, rare, and antique books in the store and I bought a few obscure cookbooks in the hour or so I spent there. If I had stayed any longer it probably would have been a lot more than that!

The employee told me they were closing early due to a scheduling conflict which was a little odd, but I will be going back since the interesting inventory and sheer amount of books they have warrants another look.

The parking lot is small and not marked with spaces, so it is every man for himself.
