DISGUSTING GROSS GROSS. Stay away. It's disgusting - filthy. I was there when a girl used the sink to go to the bathroom. sHE was so wasted. There are roaches everywhere! One was crawling on the bar. Cheap drinks cheap looking old bartenders. Creepy

They've got beer.. By the time I got to the Blue Lagoon, my Friday dive bar tour was starting to wear me out a little bit - but I had to push forward. It's in a pretty dumpy area with a pretty dumpy parking lot - and my friend in his Audi was not at all excited about traversing the small potholed lot to park.

I sort of paced for a minute before parking at the corner of the bar, my obvious indecision about where to sit drew the attention of the 5 or 6 regulars that were posted up on the other side. I had me a beer and a tall old lanky dude named Rocky and his friend Zack asked us if we wanted to play pool. We flipped a coin to determine whether I got the choice to be on my friend's team or got to pick one of them to be on mine - I won the coin toss... and I picked my terrible pool player friend to be on my team. At this point I made it clear that I was not playing for cash.

After the break, the 8 ball ended up about an inch from the corner pocket... and Rocky gave me the option to "keep it interesting" by putting it back in the middle. I declined. We lost this game of pool terribly, paid our tab, my friend took a red pom pom thing the bartender (Keely) gave him, and we headed down the road to our next dive.

Just like Cheers!. Nice friendly bar with a comfy local feel. Bartenders are great and the regulars there are fun to be around. There is always plenty of conversation on just about any topic you can imagine. There is always something going on in there! I love this place.

Avoid at all costs!. This place is a substance abuse click place and if you don't join in you will be snobbed to death along with several other bars in that area and my drink was horrible the last time I was there...
