Worst service ever.. The only reason I gave a star is because the food is passable.

I went with a group of 9 people and they refused to give us refills on the side dishes, when they are supposed to be free. But because our group was too large they did not want to lose the money on extra side dishes.

We even offered to pay for the extra orders but since they barely speak any english, they probably didn't understand us and still refused our offer.

There was also a maggot in one of our dishes and when pointed out to a server she merely pinched it away and acted as if it was completely normal. They didn't even give us a refill of the dish the maggot was in.

Never refilled our waters until we pressed the service button, even though we were the only customers in the building at the time they never waited on us.

I'm normally very forgiving and understanding but this was intolerable. I would not have tipped them except gratuity was already included.

okay food but horrific terrible service from HOSTESS!. I would never come back to this restaurant again. If you are not Korean and never ate Korean food-please try another restaurant. I admit the food is different and okay. We ordered food and wasnt aware the portion since we've never ordered before but the waitress wasn't helpful because I could not understand her at all. Her accent was so strong therefore it was hard for her to recommend anything to me. When we ask to order more Kim chi the hostess came over to our table and spoke very loudly that we did not order enough food so we can't get Kim chi!!! can you believe how rude she was??? we didn't ask for it to be FREE but was going to pay extra. She was extremely rude and unprofessional!! it completely ruined my dinner. i felt as if she was was already talking behind our backs! I would never recommend the food for the price and never for the rude service! no one deserves it.

Good Food, Lacking Service. This is one of my fave korean restaurants in the area...anything they serve here is great. All of the sides that come with your dine in experience are yummy...I especially love the potatoes, kim chi and the fresh salad they serve. The dumplings and the zuchinni pancake are heavenly...

My only complaint about this place is that if you don't speak the language or look korean they treat you like you don't belong there. The quickest way to remedy this is to either go with someone who has been before and is therefore familiar with the menu or to KNOW what you want and order quickly.

I don't ever cook my own meat at the table, but they do have the option if you want the experience of it.

Best Korean in Houston!. I have never posted a review before but felt I had to for Seoul Gardens. This place has the most amazing food! I love Korean food and have tried all the rest in Houston but no one tops ths one. The amount of food you get is asstounding. We order for two and feed four. The price is reasonable considering all the food you get, however, it is expensive enough to only bring us in once a month (usually $60 -$70) with alcohol. It is good enough for us to trek 30 miles one way to eat here while there is a Korean BBQ place closer, it does not compare. The service has always been wonderful and I am not Korean so I don't understand why people are saying that if you are not Korean you will not get good service. The only thing I can think of is that the wait staff does not know much English. But they are teaching us Korean. This has never happened to me and I have been eating there once a month for 2 years. In fact, when my 6 yr. old decides he does not like korean because he wanted McDonalds, the waitress brought him out some ice cream so that he would allow us to enjoy our food. I tell everyone to go here! Perfect food and great service.

Kimchi Chigae cures what ails you. Not that Seoul Garden needs my help to be a smash. It's good after a night of drinking, it's good when your best friend is sad, it's great on your birthday when you want to woo the man you like. Oh yes. I have been to Seoul Garden repeatedly. The service is authentic Korean, too. At fancy restaurants in Korea, waiters wear fake tuxes and come by your table and bow. At regular old restaurants, you're treated like family. It's nice. Seoul Garden fits that mold. And they've been kind enough to install call buttons on the wall at each table. Did you like the rhyme in that sentence? That's Seoul Garden: delightful at every bite.

Horrible service on several occasions - cancels out the great food. We went to Seould Garden about eight times during the last four months and only received proper service two of those times. I understand that it gets busy, but there were several times when we would get seated before another party and they would have not only their appetizers but their entrees as well before we even got our drinks. My boyfriend got fed up with the sub-par service and wanted to go somewhere else, but I always insisted that it was no big deal and the food was so good that we should just put up with the poor serivce. After our last visit I will never give them my business again: we went in at 9:25 pm and they close at 10 pm. A server came over to inform us that they were closing and wouldn't seat us. I have never been to a restaurant where they refuse to seat you over 30 mins before close time. I would understand if we showed up at 10 minutes till, but they had plenty of time to serve us. What was exceptionally frustrating was that we were regular customers at this restaurant despite their terrible service. We went across the street to Korea Garden and were seated and received prompt and gracious service. The food at Korea Garden is excellent, too, and we will be going there or to one of the other 8 Korean restaurants on Long Point from now on.

Editorial Review. Hibachi chefs grill Korean barbecue, beef and seafood dishes tableside while nearby sushi chefs prepare Japanese rolls and tempura.

Great Korean Food. OK, so I'm not crazy about its location... AND it usually is crowded so you'll have a wait AND then the service is less than desirable PLUS I hate that I smell like Korean food from the smoke after the meal..... BUT, I do love the food there. I've tried several other Korean places in town but I continue to come back to Seoul Garden. The food is always great and I love their side dishes. It's a good place to take a group but not a good idea if you're going for a date or plan to go anywhere after the meal. Your clothes will end up smelling because of all the smoke from the food and in the restaurant. I just wish they had a way to ventilate the area better.

Good. The "usual" Korean BBQ. Table cooking. Very good for Texas. (Meaning, not as good as in LA or NY). Good service.
