There are few things as eagerly anticipated as this yearly extravaganza. Citywide celebration for this grand-daddy of Houston events starts in early March. The expansive Reliant Park (which includes the famed Astrodome, Reliant Arena, Reliant Center and Reliant Stadium) is transformed into an all-purpose amusement park with riding events, carnivals, food booths, children's areas and tons of live music.
