Tips for Bailey's House Of Guns Inc

REINVEST.From the landfill they call a shooting range to the shanty-shack cluttered with filth and opened merchandise re-hung but not re-packaged or re-priced appropriately. From the disinterested chubby kid that acts like a spoiled grandchild behind the counter to the disinterested Hispanic male who thinks staying on the phone is more important than helping customers standing in front of him-REINVEST.

The range has trashy wooden tables with trashy stools and NOT A GUN RACK IN SIGHT. They have these crappy canvas bags that you are supposed to use but they have no sand in them. If you are lucky, you might find one with a little sand left.

CUSTOMER SERVICE STANK.

I will NEVER return to Bailey’s House of Guns. There are PLENTY of gun ranges who care about helping customers and show it by keeping their stores updated, their ranges in working order and their staff in check. If you do go to this outdated hole in the wall, keep your expectations well below average and don’t let the chubby kid bore sight your gun. It just ain't worth it.

Good place to spend several hours. Family run and operated. They are there to please you in they're way which may not be you're way. They know their stuff and will accommodate you if asked but will not tolerate compromising safety on the range. They have several ranges, a gun and ammo store and reloading supplies. If you're a gun nut it's a place for time well spent. It's also a good place to take young ones just starting out. Mr. Bailey's house is next door with peacocks and all form of critters hanging around. Beats the heck out of going to the big commercial ranges and being waylaid by the assault rifle crowed doing their bang bang bang..........

Great place to spend a day. I took my youngest Son to Bailey’s to fire his first rifle this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I found the staff to be pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. When they found out that this was my Son’s first rifle and first time at a range they made a point of welcoming him and made a fuss over him welcoming him and telling him to have a good time and have fun. For $9.00 a gun and 50 cents for a targets for all day, can’t beat it.

Hats off to Bailey’s for a great first experience for a young first time shooter ! The first thing out of the boys mouth as we were driving out, “When can we come again Dad?” Great time, good people recommend Bailey’s, to anyone for a nice safe place to enjoy a day!

It's Bailey's. I've been shooting at Bailey's for several years, both on the rifle range and the pistol range. I also took the CHL course there. I've found the staff to be consistently helpful and reasonably courteous, including the range officers. When they had to use direct language to some of the customers, it was generally safety related. If you don't know the rules of the range, try to read them when you show up and ask questions. Might help you keep from having your feelings stepped on and keep you from writing a review about how rude you've been treated. Bailey's is an old-fashioned gun &ammo store, with decent ranges. It will never be confused with Carter's Country or Bass Pro Shop.

Mixed review. I enjoy shooting there and haven't been treated rudely. My only complaint is when I left a gun there to be chamber casted. I took several weeks to get it back. Gun barrel had bluing damaged, but at least they stamped the barrel and no xtra charge. But, I didn't appreciated paying an extra 26 - 30 dollars so they could take one bullet from a new box of ammo to test fire my weapon. I had plenty of ammo and I could have given them a bullet. A tad bit shady.

WORST gun range ever. By far one of the worst gun ranges I have ever been to. The staff is very unfriendly and rude with very bad attitudes. The owner Ms. Bailey was very rude and disrespectful to myself . I amazed that Bailey's House of Guns is still in business and has customers.I went in to the store to look at the guns they had for sale,I asked to look at one and the guy grab the gun and keep it in his hand showing it to me i asked if i could hold it to see if i like it he said "NO"I told the guy I was a Marine and he said "SO what, that don't mean sh*t you don't know any thing about guns." EVERY DISRESPECTFUL PLACE I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.do not shoot here. I recommend Marksmen s off hwy 3 in south Houston.

Hidden Treasure!. If you live in Missouri City or surrounding areas, and you are an outdoor person who loves to shoot guns, you are in luck because the low prices here will make you want to come back and spend most of your time if you are neither in school nor at work.

I've been to this place three times with different guns and people, and they have always treated us with respect. It cost about $10 for handguns and $12 for semi auto rifles. They also have sniper ranges and shot gun ranges. 75 cents for ear plugs so you don't go deaf. Just because you ran out of ammo doesn;t mean its time for you to go; just walk indoor and purchase more ammo.

Only thing is that you can only load one bullet into your assault rifle magazine at a time and shoot one round every 5 seconds from your pistol/revolver.

Overall, I am definitly looking forward to going back there as soon as possible.

Good service. I have been a customer of Bailey's now for 40 years and have bought over 100+ guns from them over the years. The service has all was been very good. I had two problems with new guns over the years and Baileys took care of the problem promptly. A good family owned business that I recomend to my freinds.

Nice shooting range. Have shot at Baileys dozens of times, it’s a very small and laid back shooting range, it’s also a family owned business with employees that have abrasive personality’s but if you follow the rules and treat everyone with respect you will enjoy the place, the people that are new to shooting and do dangerous things with their firearms tend not to like the place, if you want to go to place to show off your new AR15 or glock please go to some other public range that is more lenient to people breaking simple and universal range rules, I enjoy going there even though parking can be bad, I have to admit I never heard anything good about their gunsmiths, I had a problem with a new semi auto shot gun I bought and they looked at it and could not figure it out

Bailey's--Best Shooting Range in Houston. I have been shooting and shopping at Baileys for decades.

If you follow the range rules, same as anywhere, you will have a good time. Their store always has what I'm looking for with no fuss.
