Ask for Christian!. We went with Impressive and had an incredible MC/DJ. Although I heard from some people at the wedding that the DJ was actually with another company (they knew him personally), we had had no complaints....he was AWESOME! He kept the dance floor crowded the entire night and even had the older folks dancing! If you go with Impressive, ask for Christian. He is the best DJ/MC we have ever seen! ..and a bunch of people at our wedding were saying the same thing!! As for what company Christian works for, he would not tell us since he was booked thru Impressive. He was the best anyway!!!

Great Company. I'm a dancer who works with an entertainment dance company. I have attended hundreds of parties and events and worked with dozens of DJs. I worked a Halloween party at a private residence this past Friday with one of the DJs from Impressive Entertainment and he really was Impressive. I love Joe. Request him if you can. He knows what he's doing. Sadly, I have worked with DJs that didn't know how to get people on the dance floor or how to keep them there or even what kinds of songs the crowd would respond to. Joe Zuniga did a fantastic job of DJing and lighting and keeping the party going. It was a pleasure to work with him and you'll have a great time with him, too!

DJ. Wow...I really appreciate your reviews. I'm currently looking for a DJ for my upcoming wedding and was considering Impressive Entertainment. How sad that the most important night of your life is ruined by unprofessional people. This isn't the only site they have bad reviews on...shame on them!! I will save myself a "nightmare" DJ thanks to your comments!

Not So Impressive!!!. I found the review below titled "Impressive not so impressive" about 2 weeks prior to our wedding. I printed out the reviews and took them to ?Impressive? entertainment and explained to them that I had some concerns that these reviews were not painting them in a good light, but that I understood that people that are pleased don?t take the time to write a good review. I just wanted to bring it to their attention and make sure that these same things did not happen at our wedding. I even told them that I would be more than happy to write a stellar review if they proved these other reviews wrong. I was reassured that everything was going to be perfect. I requested to meet our DJ prior to the reception and they made a big deal about how this was not something they did, but made an exception. After meeting our DJ we were not 100% reassured, but decided not to forfeit $650 and go with another DJ service.

BIG MISTAKE!!!

The DJ managed to butcher my wife?s maiden name when introducing her parents and it went down hill from there. He played what we wanted during dinner, but screwed up everything there after. The DJ made an announcement that we were about to cut the cake and then went out to have a smoke. Everyone was in place to cut the cake and where is our DJ...? Who Knows?? My best man had to take the mic and MC the cake cutting. The DJ returned some time later. Several times he started music and in the middle of the song stopped it. We had a Congo line going and finally seemed to be getting the party started and out went the music. 5 min. later he starts up the same song and everyone is thinking that our DJ is a complete moron. He was a horrible MC. You know how some people are born to be in front of a crowd, but this guy was just plain annoying! He talked too much and didn?t have anything intelligent to say.

Needless to say, we should have sucked up the $650 and ditched ?Impressive? Entertainment and gone with our other choice DJ?s Unlimited

Very impressive!!!. We hired Impressive Entertainment to do the reception at my wedding! I was blown away by how incredible they were! Everyone was raving about how great the music was and how personable the DJ was, everyone thought we had known him for years. I would recommend to any one looking for a DJ for their reception to hire them! The whole reception just flowed so well, they knew exactly when to do everything and cordinated everything from cutting the cake to the bouquet/garter toss. Joe DJ'ed our event and was VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!! Please go check them out!

Impressive not so impressive. We hired Impressive Entertainment to DJ our wedding and I was told it would be an extra 250 dollars to have the owner DJ the event. We decided to pay the extra money because we wanted the best. Before the wedding he and I went to lunch and we went over the "do not play list", the procession music, the dance music and then there were a couple songs that we really wanted played. I was also specific about wanting music with out swear words.

The day of the wedding he came to my dressing room and said looked over everything and it was good to go. I was so excited I didn't notice that he wasn't standing at the turn tables playing the music, but I have pictures of the teenager that was. I wash shocked when some man I had never met was introducing my wedding party. We had our first dance and I started looking for our DJ. HE LEFT!!!! He left my wedding to go to another event. The DJ that was there didn't stick to the plan we had written. He played rap music with foul language and it really offended my husbands conservative family. He also didn't play the music I had requested even after I went upstairs to him and told him what that I wanted it done right away. I really wanted my parents song played. Because he decided my request and contract wasnt important; therefore I didn't get to see them dance. I cried on the way home.

I called him first thing Monday morning and informed him of how badly his cronies had handled my wedding. He said that it was too bad because I had paid the extra 250 to have him supervise. He said he fulfilled his contract and he wasn't going to give me a penny back.
