Will go back to try something else.
This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Udon Noodle Soup ($6.95) and Seaweed Salad. It was quite good though nothing outstanding. It was just good "home-cooked" food. The other reviewer was right about getting there early for a bento box. When we arrived (12:30), the first bento box choice was already sold out. This place is very casual with a TV in the corner tuned to a Japanese channel. We did have to wait a bit longer than I wanted to for our food to be served but in the end my stomache was well fed.

Auth. home cooking.
Yorimichi is a great place to go for cooked, casual dishes. Don't expect Japanese cuisine; it's more like home-cooking. A friend of ours, who lived in Japan for half a year, said it was the closest thing to a typical Japanese cafe where people can grab a quick hearty meal. Don't be fooled by its location in a strip mall b/c authentic food is what counts, not the decor. And, yes, it is owned and operated by an actual Japanese family.
