Good Show Bad Food. Me and my girlfriend went there for our anniversary. We were seated right away and eveyone was going fine until the food came. The salad came from a pre made bag of salad. I got the chicken parmigian and it was gross, the sauce was nasty, and the noodles were disgusting. The only thing that was good about this place was the show. We saw i love you your perfect now change. I laughed the whole way through, but this could not really cover up for the food. It says on the website that the show costs 23 dollars and the meal is 14, but i dont even think the meal was worthy of costing 14 dollars. And the dessert i got the ebony and ivory and it was freaking chocolate mousse and whip cream and it tasted like it was 10 years old. I am never going back there it was not worth over 90 dollars for two people, and that is without any alcohol.

Something Different to do!. Ok, when was the last time you saw a live broadway show for dinner? EXACTLY! - It is defenetly an experience to see. The food was above average and the customer service is great! - After dinner, the show may seem to get boreing after a while.

Guys, start counting your brownie points. Awesome. Hands down the most fun I've even had in a long time. If you're looking for a place to take your special someone, this is it. It's a good way to just relax, not have to worry about rushing places, but just chill for a few hours and be entertained. The waitstaff was great, on top of everything and very nice. The play was killer too. I didnt expect the acting to be that god, but it was seriously like something you would see in New York. Some may say it's pricey, but in my opinon, it's well worth it. You definitely get what you pay for with this place. I will definitely go there again in the future. If you havent been, go. There's no place like it. Guys, you may even like it. But if not, you can still go and build up some points.

Moderate expecations---nightmare fulfilled. After searching for something "new and different", I resolved to try The Great Caruso. I was extremely excited about our reservation since the venue combines two of my favorite hobbies---entertainment and dining. I was immediately diappointed by rude, curt waitstaff, late arriving actors, and an inedible dish. An attempt to resolve the issues resulted in a rather comical exchange between the manager and myself as he attempted to loudly suggest that I pardon the experience since the Mother's Day rush often results in poor service at other venues around the city. I tactfully reminded him that I chose to dine at The Great Caruso---not other restaurants around the city--and that I was looking forward to at least a minimum level of service/entertainment. Since The "Great' Caruso is the only dinner theatre in Houston, I strongly suggest that you go to dinner ANYWHERE else and then head toward AMC.

Great Night Out or Special Occasion. BWT - Very entertaining and certainly a nice way to celebrate a special occasion. The cost is about $60 per person with a glass of wine. We had the table from 8:30 to 11:45pm, quite a long time. The food was pretty good, but we really enjoyed the entertainment. Not Broadway only one place is, but very entertaining an obviously professionally done. My wife and I decided for this because we didn't have to rush through dinner to get to the theater...we were already there.

Wonderfully entertaining. I have been coming to this dinner theatre for the last 6 years or so. I just love this place. The inside of this average looking building is beautifully enchanting. Really, the atmosphere alone transports you to another place! Everytime that I've been here, the staff has been very courteous and friendly. However, I wish that they would improve their cuisine. Actually I don't think that you can call their food, "cuisine". It's exceptionally horrible. The last few times I ordered the food so I could enjoy the whole experience, but from now on I'll just stick to cocktails. I'd actually prefer to eat fast food over this stuff. The fantastic shows keep me coming back time and time again though. I've never been disappointed by a show and I doubt that will ever happen! Have an early dinner and then come here for after dinner drinks and a fantastic performance.

people skills problem....ANYway.....food...Ok, Service...below average, entertainment

GREAT!..not exactly Broadway as they claim...but good for Dinner Theater fare...17%

tip on entire evening......unacceptable!..you can't do that!..and I found out that the singers don't see any of it!......OVERALL...worth one visit! but be careful... anything extra.....you tip 17% and you could loose your paycheck! LOVED THE SHOW DooWop II

The waiters and waitresses at this operatic dinner theater literally sing for your supper, often breaking into song tableside. But that's not all: A regular variety program showcases talent, with opera and Broadway tunes performed by local professional stage types. It's a fun choice for, say, your parents' anniversary dinner. The setting is sort of broad Victorian, heavy on the red velvet and framed pictures.

Will Definitely Be Back. What a fantastic time. We went and saw the Doo-Wop show and I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The acts were hysterical and my friend and I had such a great time. They had cupid in this huge diaper and oh, you'll have to see it. We can't wait to see what show is next!
