“Great food, great service!”
Great food, great service!. I really liked this restaurant, went here for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. I first ordered a long island ice tea without the toppers which didn’t come out right so I sent it back and got a roadhouse drink which was better. I got the three variety wings for an appetizer which was good. They brought rolls out with melted butter on them which tasted average, nothing like the rolls from Golden Coral which are better but Red Lobsters rolls still rain supreme. I ordered a prime rib with rice and iceberg lettuce with Thousand Island dressing. The Prime Rib was medium and had Anjou sauce with it. The prime rib was tender and tasted very good and I recommend it for a first timer. I usually get ribs when I got to roadhouses but this time for my birthday I decided to sink my teeth into some beef. I didn’t go without a taste of the ribs because my friend ordered chicken and ribs which he liked as well. I did taste some of his ribs and they were tender and tasty. The manager came over and made sure things were going well which was impressive. Since it was my birthday they came out and sang to me which was very nice and it made me blush. They didn’t embarrass me which was good but they did rev up the dining area in acknowledgment. They also gave me a little cup of cheese cake which was too small to be considered a sample but hey it’s the thought that counts. I understand the peanut laden floors add to their ambiance but it’s not something that impresses me.
Nashville-based steakhouse chain serves up large portions of meat and potatoes..
In Short
Founded in 1991, this company-owned, franchised eatery is famous for one thing: steak. With decor reminiscent of classic wood-paneled roadhouses that lined Route 66, this restaurant serves up gigantic portions of mesquite-grilled, hand-cut steaks. Families and friends with rumbling stomachs start off with bottomless peanuts before diving into sirloins, rib-eyes and prime rib. Bigger appetites go for the 20-ounce porterhouse. Lighter items include teriyaki-grilled chicken and Santa Fe tilapia.
