Best Mexican Food!. Food is amazing. The tortillas are the best anywhere!

Prices are good. Kitchen can be a little slow (just in getting your main meal) but the staff is very nice and accomodating -- drinks, chips and salsa are always full!

Our favorite neighborhood spot for great mexican food. I almost always order a combo plate cause I like everything they have!!

Our Favorite Place. Never a line or a wait to get in - even during busy weekend times. We have had the most wonderful parties here and we adore the fact that it is so close to our house. My favorite item is the fish tacos but everything we have tried has been fantastic. I almost don't want to post this comment because if the word gets out how much better this location is than the one on highway 6, we will never get a seat fast again. Everyone knows us and we have our favorite staff members every time we go. We intend to go back every chance we get.

What a nice surprise!. My husband and I were going to see a friend in a show at the Stafford Center and decided to get some dinner before hand. There wasn't much around but we saw Los Gallitos and thoughts Mexican sounded good. I think, in general, we eat at more upscale places, but Los Gallitos appeared clean and fairly well maintained. The interior was comfortable, a place you could very happily take children and not worry you would get dirty looks if they acted up a little. At 7pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was very empty, and they had a massive amount of service staff. Perhaps business picks up after 8? Our server was very nice, as was our bus person. The salsa (its roasted I believe) was AMAZING!! Their menu was extensive. We ordered a chicken fajitas platter for 2. It came quickly and was delicious. The portion was quite generous and the flavor was spot on. It seemed maybe more authentic Mexican then we have gotten at other places. So overall, this was a very surprising experience. I did knock off one star because the bathrooms need some TLC and their extra staff was joking around a little much and it was kind of distracting when you are trying to have a conversation. But if we were in the area, we would surely go back.

The third Tex-Mex installment promises plenty of seafood dishes and the signature fried avocado dish.. In Short
Houstonians know their Tex-Mex, and many in town count Teos as one of their family favorites for tacos, carnitas, combination plates, enchiladas, burritos and fajitas. Sample one of the bountiful table-grilled parilladas containing grilled quail, shrimp and a variety of meats. Fried avocados stuffed with chicken and cheese and whole fish dinners offer a break from the usual Tex-Mex standards. Enjoy affordable lunch specials (although no single menu item would break the bank) and tasty frozen margaritas.

Best Kept Secret in SW Houston. Many people who love the North & West Houston Los Cucos restaurants do not realize this is essentially the same restaurant. They are owned by the same family and the menus are identical. The Best Mexican food in Houston. I work in an industry with many Mexican Nationals and I have taken them here when they are in town. They are all so impressed. They wish they could get exceptional Mexican food like this in Mexico!! Some of the best margaritas in town, try items from the "Delicious Chicken" menu, or the stuffed avocadoes for a real treat. (Oh, and the prices are VERY inexpensive.)

Great Mexican Food!. This is a great place for those that truly appreciate good Mexican food. Skip the more expensive chain restaurants and head to Los Gallitos. My husband and I have yet to be disappointed here. When my friends come to Houston from out-of-town and want Mexican, this is where we take them. They all love it!

CHICKEN FAJITAS A LAS CUCOS. I love this restaurant and have been going there for years! My favorite is the chicken fajitas a las cucos, a delicious fajita dish covered in some sort of wine butter sauce with tomatoes, mushrooms, cilantro, jalapenos and yummy onions. Also wonderful are the seafood nachos and every chicken dish. You can't go wrong.

Not impressed. I wasn't very impressed with this place. I went there for lunch with co-workers and ordered the taco salad with ground beef. I instead got shredded fajita chicken. I didn't have time to wait on a new salad, so I ate it. The chicken was admittedly good, but it still wasn't what I ordered. The service as a whole was not on the ball. I wouldn't go back to this place.
