Best Pediatric dentist around! I have been taking my kids (ages 15 and 12) to her all their lives and have never had a bad experience. The staff is wonderful with my older son who is Autistic. Believe me, he would refuse to cooperate or go back if they were anything but kind and patient with him. I have recommended her to many people and would do so again in a second. Many of my friends use her and love her as much as I do.

Love Dr Casas. Our boys have been going there for over 10 years, and not once have we ever had the slightest issue. She & her staff are very professional, and have helped protect the health of our boys teeth. Completely opposite experience from some of those "one time visitors" listed below.

Get a SECOND OPINION. I am so disappointed in the morale of this dentist.

When I took my 3 yr old, I was horrified that when she diagnosed him with 9 cavities, saying he had a condition called "soft teeth". Recommending they put him under IV sedation, they wanted to pull several teeth, insert spacers, and drill & cap the rest. All together we were looking at $2,100 worth of work (thats WITH insurance) I was overwhelmed, disappointed in myself as a parent, and SCARED.

I decided to obtain a 2nd opinion and thank God. The diagnosis was still BAD, but only 4 cavities needed to be capped. No pulling of teeth, no IV sedation. This dentist is out of my network, but I am willing to pay out of pocket bc I feel they are a more trustworthy source.

I feel like Dr. Casas office was playing on my emotions as a parent. I feel like they were using a scare tactic. As a parent, there is no amount of money that would come before what my child needs. If he NEEDED this work, I would no doubt figure out how to afford it. BUT I have a serious problem with work being done that doesn't need to be. Why would Dr. Casas recommend pulling teeth that didn't need to be?! Why would they want to fill cavities that weren't there yet?! I will NEVER, EVER return to this dentist. I would NEVER, EVER recommend any person to this dentist. I agree with another review, this says "Dr. Casas is possibly a criminal." I am very disturbed by this office!

Horrible Dentist your kids will loose their teeth. Dr. Casas has been seeing my daughter for 10 I was happy with her services but her referrals were always to doctors who do not take insurance which bothered me because there are plenty if doctors in houston that take insurance. I thought then that she was getting kick backs which is illegal. Last 2 visits my daughter was complaining of tooth pain but Casas said she was fine no cavities. I just took her to a real dentist and she has 6 cavities and has to have a root canal. Dr casas is no dentist she is incompetent, a liar, and possibly a criminal. Please find any other dentist dont take your kids to her. Taking your kids to her is like not taking them to a dentist at all.

Traumatized BAD Experience. I took my toddler son to visit Dr. Casas and all seemed fun at first. The waiting room had games and was kid friendly but behind the doors was a bad experience. I took my son for a toddler check up to make sure all was fine but the staff and Doctor insisted he needed a fluoride treatment and I was uncomfortable with the procedure. The nurse the forced/held my son down in the chair and the held his head down and poured this fluoride in his mouth. He was screaming/crying and then vomited from the fluoride. I was so shaken up and my son was so very upset and cried the whole way home. I called our pediatrician and he said this was not normal and told us never to go back. He said they could have hurt his head forcing him down like that and the fluoride treatment was not necessary that young. His teeth were perfect. Since that experience our son is traumatized by dentist and had his teeth touched. We have since found a professional and kid friendly dentist but we still think in horror of that day. My husband also said we should have taken our son out of there when they insisted on forcing him down and held his head in such a bad manner. Hope this helps someone else so they do NOT have to put their kids through a traumatizing situation. We do NOT recommend – NOT KID FRIENDLY…Beware.

Totally Rude!. They refused service to my son and my granddaughter after already being patients there! My son has been going to Dr. Casas for 11 years. I am now raising my granddaughter who is on medicaid, and they accepted her as a new patient 2 years ago. When I tried to make an appointment with them just now, they informed me that we would have to find a new dentist because it has been more than 6 months since our last appointment (it's been 10 months). I am so livid right now. It's not easy for kids to get comfortable with a new dentist. Totally RUDE!!!

Not So Good. Over Charged. Overrated. Did her staff write the good reviews? Every time when my kids visited the place, the dentist didn't check the kids; only the nurses did that. but she charges more than other dentists do.

Just Recommended this Pedi Dentist to Best Friend. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I just looked up the contact info for Ludi Casas so that I could give it to my friend. When I saw this site, I decided to sign up so that I could add my review because of how pleased I am with this dentist AND her staff. The office is clean and everyone on staff is polite if not outright friendly. Dr. Casas, herself, is approachable, gentle, and great with the kids. Exams are quick enough to keep the kids from feeling frustrated, but I've never felt rushed and have always had an opportunity to express concerns or ask questions. When my toddler knocked his front teetch loose Dr. Casas spent ample time talking with me to help me understand the different possible outcomes for his specific case.

The staff actually seem to LIKE what they do (and who they work for), which does a lot for the atmosphere and general vibe in the place. My son actually LIKES going to see the dentist--he's 2.5 yrs old!

It doesn't hurt that there is also a playroom equipped with video games and several fantastic toys for squirmy patients--and siblings--to play in while waiting... I could NOT be more impressed with Dr. Casas' practice. It is no wonder that she has developed such a good reputation among parents in the Clear Lake area.

Best pediactric dentist. I took my little girl there a few days ago and it was awesome! It was her first dental appt. They came out to the waiting room and got familiar with her, talked and played with her (she gets nervous around new people) Well they took her back with out me (I was nervous) She cried, but it took about 5minutes for them to finish everything they needed to do to her. She came out with a balloon and toys and a smile from one ear to the other! She was soo excited she had her teeth cleaned. Shes 2. They loved her and she was still a little scared of Dr. Casas when she seen her again but it took seconds for her to be comfortable. Dr. Casas was very upfront and truthful, in a concerned and helpful way. I want her ot be my dentist!! lol. I highly recommend you take you kids to her, shes awesome, and her staff as well

Fast and wonderful with kids. My son fell and got a bloody tooth yesterday. I called and left a voicemail yesterday evening, but thought I should call at 7:30 am this morning right as they opened... I never got the chance, because they returned my call at 7:20 am! They got me an appt for 8:45, I was a little early, so I was actually walking out the door by 8:55 (even after an xray). I couldn't believe we were only a few minutes late for school.

All of the staff I have encountered are so good with kids, slapping a sticker on my son right after he finished his xray saying "pictures of my teeth" :) While the dentist was looking at the xray with me, the nurse quietly took him to the kids waiting area (complete with xbox or psp and play kitchens, etc.). She watched him while I actually had a conversation with the dentist! When I went to get him, he had a balloon in hand and a plastic snake and lizard toy. He didn't want to leave!

I highly recommend this practice for any kid's dental work. What a pleasant experience from people who absolutely "got it right".
