Best in town?? Not by a long shot!. It gets a weak "okay". Many better places nearby...like Lopez, Pappasitos, Gringo's. Flats DOES NOT make my top five Tex-Mex places by a long shot.

Houston Landmark Mexican Cantina!.
For more years than I can remember, Fajita Flats has been the "go to" place for my entire family! It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without the legendary pogo-pony ride through the restaurant! Mike Garcia, the Pancho Villa of restaurateurs and his band of over-the-top service rebels are armed to the teeth with great food, especially any of the seafood offerings that are always a lock to excel and amaze, great service that is true and genuine and a frozen margarita that wonderful memories are made of . . . if I only I could remember them!
Go soon, go often and vivir la buena vida! Fajita Flats Style!
PS. When you order your frozen margarita, ask them to: "Besame Mucho" and hang on to your senses!

Great Place! Cheap Prices!. I have been coming to Faijita Flats for ever and it never fails. The atmosphere is fun, the food is cheap and really really good. I have never had a bad meal here. The quesadillas are the best I've had in houston. The guacamole, the fajitas... like I said... never a bad meal.

It's a go. This is our Friday night with the kids mexican restaurant. The atmoshpere is noisy- but where isn't it? There is a TV with sports, Happy Birthday is played often throughout the night. The Margaritas have never disappointed. The waitstaff are always friendly and as fast as they can. It seems to be popular with the afterwork group.Oh, the food is always good- which is a plus. My husband says they have the best fajitas in town- and I always like the shrimp quesadillas.
