I've been a loyal customer for probably 20 years. When I order flowers, they come through for me every time. Like Christmas at Wal-mart, florists are busy at peak times like Valentine's but to me what matters is all the little things. Like sending my girlfriend 30 green balloons on St Patricks day or making sure mother's flowers were there when she needed them most. That to me is a good florist. They are there when you need them most. Breen's is there!
Outstanding in their field – I have been a customer for years. The flowers are outstanding quality. Every florist has its challenges, especially at holiday times, and I don't think it's quite fair to judge a florist solely on the "delivery" of flowers on a major holdiay. I have found that when a delivery is not made to my expectation the customer service makes up for the disappointment I felt. Thanks Breen's for taking care of me.
Horrible!! – If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband ordered flowers for me for Valentines Day. What was delivered looked like a 3 year old shoved some flowers into a vase. They weren't arranged, many were crushed, it was absolutely horrible! There were only 3 roses, but what was ordered had close to a dozen shown. My husband ordered the Sweetheart Bouquet Deluxe. So, I called several times, calls went straight to voicemail, and I left multiple messages. Only after threatening to complain to FTD, did my call get returned. I sent a photo of what was delivered and was told "They didn't leave the shop like that". However, after more discussion, she said that she hadn't even seen the flowers before they left. I wonder how she knew what they looked like when they left the shop if she hadn't even seen them??!! I also sent her a photo of the bouquet shown on the FTD site. She promised that she would replicate it and deliver it on February 16. What arrived had 5 roses (a slight improvement on the original delivery), but was still a very small, skimpy arrangement....nothing like what FTD shows. The type of flowers are the same, but the volume is hugely different. My husband is very disappointed. He is out of the country and really wanted me to receive something nice since he couldn't be there. Instead, I have had to complain multiple times and spend a lot of time trying to get this resolved, just to have another crappy arrangement delivered. I wish I could upload the photos for everyone to see. They speak for themselves!
We sincerely apologize for your recent experience with us. We value every customer we service and are here to satisfy our customers 100%. If we have not already done so please contact us at 713-227-3367. Our phone system is also performing properly again.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE – Paid almost $200 for Valentine's Day roses, and they weren't delivered. Phone calls went straight to voicemail, or their option to hold for the next consultant merely hung up on you. Got an email on Feb 15 saying they had tried to deliver at 10:42PM on Feb 14, but were unsuccessful. Seriously????!!!!!!!
Best Florist in Houston! – I use Breens Florist for all of my orders for this city. I recommend them to anyone needing flowers in Houston! They are the best Houston Florist!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – Valentine's day fiasco, provided by Breens!
My fiancee attempted to contact the store to find out where the roses he ordered were, as they were not delivered to my office on Valentines day. First he was told that the delivery person knocked on the door, and no one was there. Not true. There was someone in my office all day! Then he was told the flowers were delivered to suite 120. Again, not true! We don't even have a suite 120 in our building.
The really f'ed up thing is they really made no attempt to correct the problem. Tell me how is offering to deliver the flowers THE NEXT DAY and refunding the delivery fee good customer service? IT WAS VALENTINE'S DAY FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!
No clue where the flowers ever ended up. He was offered a refund. No discount on future orders, no offer of hey we'll send out some flowers and refund your money. Pathetic, just pure pathetic.
The kicker? We're getting married soon and will be looking for a florist. Think we'll be calling Breen's? Not a chance!! Amazing how crappy customer service will always bite you in the butt.
A Florist that Delivers... – I recently used this florist and they hit a home run with me. When I called the listenen and cared about my order. They made suggestions to make sure I was sending something appropriate. Then they backed it up with a wonderful design and delivered on time. I will use this florist in Houston everytime.
Are flowers really that hard to deliver?? – I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday from these morons at 10:00 AM on a Friday for same-day delivery to her office. 5:00 PM rolls around and my wife leaves the office and they still hadn't been delivered. I call the florist and they tell me that they will just deliver them tomorrow... 1.) tomorrow is not my wife's birthday and 2.) tomorrow is a Saturday... how is she going to get the flowers at her office on a Saturday -- Happy belated birthday honey we're going to take a surprise trip you your office to pick up your late flowers... YAY.
There are some tough jobs in the world, making a bouquet of flowers, jumping into your van, smoking a Marlboro menthol light, and driving them to an address before a certain time is not one of them. I suggest that Breens florist stop hiring retarded personnel. You might also consider not charging $80 for a bouquet of flowers that you are incapable of delivering.
Reliable Floral Deliveries – I have used Breen's a few times for a couple different occassions. My gifts have always been delievered on time. Good telephone service that will help pick flowers by season, colors or occassion for the arrangement.
My mom LOVES the potted plants she gets from Breens and I have always gotten rave reviews on the fresh cut arrangements.
I have seen some of the more "themed" gift baskets they do and they come out great too.
Basically anything you can come up with Breens will make for you and they will make it unique!!
Best Florist – Used Breen's to send flowers to mom for Mother's Day. They did a great job. I didn't really know what i wanted when i called, thought i would get the usual roses. The sales person I spoke with helped me pick something different than the standard. Mom got a lovely tropical arrangement that she loved, and it lasted a long time too. I reccomend Breens for you get GREAT service, people who know what they are doing, and the different options of something from FTD, roses, or something made just for you. Very fresh long lasting flowers, and they seem to go all over for deliveries, i have yet to call them and find somewhere in Houston that they don't go to. Thumbs up from me!!
