“would not recommened for large family eating out or romantic date dinner.”
“Their other pasta dishes and their pizza are still really good and we love the fact that it is a BYOB place (wine only).”

“Service also an issue lots of playing around goofing around not attentive to the customer not very professional at all.”
“Fred's is still dishing up good pasta at a reasonable price.”
Great ambience!. This place is romantic and serves excellent food. The restaurant is usually packed (especially during lunch hour). They have great Country Crock Honey Butter they serve with the complementary bread. The eggplant and manicotti are a must try!
Great place, great food.. I question the people that didn't like Fred's. For the area available, the service is great. Tiny place, quick effecient service--they don't bow and scrape, but they're responsive and accurate. The food is genuine. They have scungili, for Pete's sake. Find that at most places. Real deal here folks, and a great value for your dining dollar. (Real veal, for those of us un-PC enough to want it.)
Great Food. The food is WONDERFUL!!! And the staff is great!!! Recommend for everyone to try.
Not recommended.
Unfriendly staffs. The places is very congested.
The food seem to pre-cooked days before and now reheated prior to being served. Waiter is stingy on napkins supply requests.
I would not recommened for large family eating out or romantic date dinner.
Nice Little Restaurant. I am not sure why anyone would give this restaurant a bad review. My boyfriend and I found it while out taking a drive in the neighborhood. We both fell in love with it. The price is very reasonable, the service is great, and in my opinion, the food is wonderful.
cozy Italian cafe. We used to visit this restaurant back in the early 90's as Rice students. Fred's is still dishing up good pasta at a reasonable price. Our favorite is the fiery arribiata sauce, but I've never had something here I didn't like.
Great food, good service. Great place to eat! Excellent food, good service and decent wine list. The only problem is the tables are very close together but don't let that stop you from trying this place.
