Viva Fred's Italiano Rest.!. Love this place - Italian dishes with a hint of herbs/spices, which makes it unique versus the Italian restaurants that slather lots of cheeses and sauces. It makes you feel like you're dining at home. The prices won’t bust your budget. Excellent wine list, but the vintages is what you may want to ponder about. The staff is extremely friendly, timely & knowledgeable. You may have to ask your waiter/ess to repeat the specials again, but then again that’s a lot of verbiage to remember anyways. I'd bring my family, friends, and even co-workers back there anytime!

Good Fresh Italian Food. I have to say, after going to this place a few times, I decided I really like it.. I have my fav. items on the menu.. Marsala Chicken, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Ribeye Steaks, and chops.. Caprese Salad and great calamari...

Its just such a chill place, with a good all-round menu.. Its small, cozy, and when it gets busy, has a great vibe through the dining room...

The prices are not cheap.. but not expensive either.. apps, salads, and pastas are all under 10 bucks and their entrees are prices appropriately.. I find the owner to be a very nice guy, slicked back hair, trying to look the part.. He makes his way around the dinning room smiling and chatting with customers on occasion, you can tell this place has some soul and has been around for 25 years plus.. with the same folks running it.

All in all.. a nice family style Italian rest. with good wine, and fresh pasta..

terrible restaurant. Service also an issue lots of playing around goofing around not attentive to the customer not very professional at all.And to top it off the price is very overpriced for frozen Italian food. And not amusing to see the older man and waiters playing grab ass with each other when i needed service

Mediocre food, covers neighborhood with advertising. I visited this restaurant several months ago with a few friends and found the food to be mediocre and way overpriced for the quality. When it came time to pay the bill, it took an HOUR for them just to process it. Apparently nobody on staff that night knew how to split a bill?

The final straw came today when I noticed that every car in the local neighborhood had to-go menus placed on the windshields, and dozens of them were on the ground. I absolutely will not patronize businesses that use SPAM to ostensibly attract customers.

Overpriced Mediocre Italian Food. This looked like a great neighborhood eatery and it's always packed so we figured it'd be great. We started with the calamari, which tasted slightly like flour. My husband's meal was a spicy pasta with italian sausage...the sauce reminded me of Chef Boyardee. I ordered the gnocchi with creamy pesto. The gnocchi looked strangely similar to the kind I make regularly at home. We both tried a different wine by the glass which were good enough. Our total bill with tip came to about $62.00. For this price, we expected much better quality. We wished we would have gone to Carrabba's and shared a meal instead. The tables were a little too close for comfort ... felt like we were in the way of the waiter traffic the entire time. The service was pretty quick. The highlight, I'm sad to say, was the fresh warm bread. We won't be returning, even for take-out.

Cozy neighborhood place, BYOB. I recently visited Fred's and noticed that they changed their menu. They eliminated some of their great dishes like the baked ravioli, so I was a little disappointed. Their other pasta dishes and their pizza are still really good and we love the fact that it is a BYOB place (wine only). The place is pretty cozy and the tables are very close to each other, so I do not recommend this place for big groups. Be sure to be part of their rewards program because they have pretty good deals, like a free birthday dinner.

Just like the North East. This restaurant has great Italian food and a great atmosphere. True Italian cuisine. Very cozy. The portions are just right. I love it when the owner is one of the cooks. That is when you know the food is prepared right! I compare it to Italian restaurants in New Jersey or New York. I highly recommend Fred's!
