Below Average.
The elevators are slow, rooms small and outdated, concierge lounge is closed tight at 9:30, my TV is probably no larger than 15". No late night water or soda, the door is locked tight.
The housekeeping is above average and the medical centers are easily accessible.

Medical professionals find this hotel convenient to Houston hospitals and medical schools..
The Scene
Overlooking the world-famous Texas Medical Center, this hotel is frequented by visiting medical professionals and families with loved ones making use of nearby facilities. Architecturally, it's quite conservative, and its subdued sand-colored exterior could almost pass for a modern hospital were it not for the bright red Marriott sign at the top.
The Details
This 26-floor hotel includes an executive floor, 15 meeting rooms and air-conditioned walkways to nearby hospitals and medical schools. Three hundred eighty six rooms are decorated with the business-medical specialist in mind. Whether visiting for a day or a month, guests will find everything they need for a seamless stay. Work desks, speaker phones, voicemail and data ports create an office on the road, while wet bars and kitchens (in some rooms) provide convenience. The hotel offers in-room daily newspaper, coffee, cable TV and movies. The city's Museum District is also nearby.
