Pappasito's Cantina, famous for Legendary Tex-Mex, has the look of a border town cantina and the feel of a fiesta. Pappasito's serves up
our legendary sizzling fajitas, hand-crafted margaritas and some of the best chips and homemade salsa north of the Rio Grande.
We never compromise on quality. All of our mouthwatering dishes are made in-house daily from only the freshest ingredients. We offer traditional Tex-Mex items like nachos, enchiladas, tacos and handmade tamales as well as delicious specialty items like our succulent filet mignon fajitas, tender pork ribs, or our famous shrimp brochette.
You can always find the fiesta in our full service bar! We’re famous for our Margaritas - each handcrafted to perfection! All of our juices are hand-squeezed daily from the freshest fruit. Open for Lunch & Dinner, offering To-Go as well as private Party Rooms at many of our locations.
…

Pappasito's Chicken Tortilla soup is one of the best in town - tons of squash, carrots, onions, grilled chicken breast and topped with avocado. Delicioso!
Mexibest. My wife and I always order the large Chili & Onions Enchilada dinner and have them split it. It is so large it is more than enough to satisfy the two of us. And although they don't have to do it, they always bring us two complimentary bowls of charred beans. Because of the enormous size of Pappasito's and the "barn" layout, it is always noisy in these restaurants. However because we are addicted to their enchiladas and the beans, we suffer through the noise level. We just don't stick around long after eating.
Pappasito's in a nut shell. Pappasito's food is decent; however, the atmosphere doesn't fit that of what a Mexican food restaurant should be. Almost all of the staff is young and inexperienced. It is too Americanized and too much like a franchise. There are a lot more Mexican restaurants in Houston that would be more worth your time.
We'll drive half across the country. We often go to Texas during our spring break and ALWAYS make it a point to eat at Papppasito's. A couple of times a different vacation for Spring break has been discussed but my husband always reminds us, "but we can't eat at Pappasito's if we go there"! We all agree.
Best Mexican Food in the world.
I drive from Albuquerque New Mexico to Dallas or Houston once A Month just to eat at Pappasito's Cantina. I have never had food this Great and the service is always Wonderful!! I wish Albuquerque would get A Pappasito's Cantina and show New Mexicans how Mexican food should be done.
Thanks for the Great Food,
Mike
fajitas melt in your mouth. the is no other butter sauce in town served with the fajitas like pappasito. Beef or chicken are wonderful. Would like thinner tortillas though.
Good food, horrible everything else!. Horrible margaritas, service, atmosphere, waitstaff, and much too expensive. It reminds me of an overpriced McDonalds - herd 'em up, move 'em out! Horrible, I won't be going back. The only saving grace to this "chain" is the good food, but there are too many other options for good food - I'll save myself the aggravation.
Mexican Extravaganza. Pappasito's Cantina on I-10 east at Federal Road is a awesome experience. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and well groomed. The whole enviroment is energetic. It is calming to know that you are in good hands, there is always a manager in sight. On the weekend the wait can get long but you can pass the time at the lively bar. The bartenders are always up for talking and even when busy are always checking on you. It is truely a mexican food extravaganza.
WOW. I have been there twice now and enjoyed it so much. I really loved the food and they had wonderful service. And the desert is to die for have the ice cream ball with coconut and pecans on it. YUMMY!!!!!!!
ALRIGHT. GOOD. EXPENSIVE. GOOD FOOD. NOISY. TOO NOISY. BUT THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, BUT TOO EXPENSIVE. SERVICE IS ALRIGHT
Over Hyped and Over Priced. There are at least 30 better Mexican/Tex-Mex places in Houston then Pappacito's. It is way over priced for what you get. The bar and the wait staff is also are both good. One of the best happy hours in town. But the food is really sub-par. And in the end that is what really counts.
