“Their prices are much better, and I personally enjoy their food more.”
Families and an after-work crowd come to this relaxed Tex-Mex chain for sizzling fajitas and a buzzing bar scene..
In Short
Festive decor of colorfully tiled tables, vintage photographs and sunny Southwestern accents welcomes an all-ages crowd at this informal hangout. Youngsters and their parents pile into dining room booths; casual business types toss back margaritas and watch televised sports at the bar. The menu features mild versions of Lone Star state favorites, from double-basted baby back ribs and steak fajitas to red-beef chili and deep-fried onions.
A little pricey for the quality of food--pretty average.. I've never been to this Chili's in the evening and NOT had to wait. I guess there are tons of people out there who LOVE Chili's. I'm not so crazy about them. As a general rule, because they're pretty overpriced, I only go if someone else is paying, or if we have giftcards. I don't like to give them my money, lol. My favourite meal there is the Chicken & Beef quesadillas, and my husband LOVES their burgers. I also really like that they serve black beans instead of refritos. Their drinks are WAY over priced and not that great. The service is spotty. Sometimes they're on top of it, other times you wonder if your waitress is deaf, dumb, and blind. Overall, though, they have some pretty solid meals that are overpriced. If you're looking for something comparable, I reccomend the Bennigan's, on Kirby, just up the freeway from this Chili's. Their prices are much better, and I personally enjoy their food more.
Very Iffy. You never know whether you are going to get great food, or bad food. One time we went and it was with my parents. The vegetables on my Mom's entree were really overcooked, and covered up with a bunch of cheese. Gross! She asked for them to be crisp, and after two times, they weren't. And, on top of that my burger was falling apart, and so was my fiance's! We also never got our change back! Never again!
An open letter to Chili. Dear Chili's, you are Soooo Good. I also think you're food is Soooo Good. However, you are no TGIFriday's. And if your listening Mr. Bennigan you are also Soooo Good. Farthermore Bennigan you are not quite as good as either of you'r rivals. Mr. Friday you are like a delicious restaurant version of the NY Yankee. Bennigan you're tastey eatery is comparable to Biltmore Oriole. Oh and Chili please forward this on to you'r to enemy. You'rs Truly, A Big Fan PS please check out Pizza Hut. Talk about Soooo Good.
chili's Woodlands Rules!. Great place for friends and family. Bring a big group and be seated in no time. Great music and service make this the best casual dining experience. Try the Fajita Nachos for starters, the Monterey Grilled Chicked for an entry, and the amazing Chocolate Molten for desert.
Yumbolishious. I love Chili's Chicken Fajata Salad. I always order it with a whole jalapeno on the side. Yummy!
