The Scene
This former Crowne Plaza Hotel offers high-rise accommodations in Houston's uptown Galleria district. It's an easy 10-minute drive to downtown, traffic willing. With its eye-catching lobby adorned with elegant columns and beveled ceiling, this isn't your typical business hotel. Yet execs consider it one of the best choices in town. Top-notch meeting and banquet facilities make it a popular venue for conferences and retreats.
The Details
The hotel offers standard guest rooms and suites, equipped with such office-savvy amenities as three dual-line telephones with data ports and high-speed Ethernet connectivity. As well, the Club Inter-Continental Suites are located on three private floors requiring elevator key access. These special rooms feature their own dedicated concierge and upgraded amenities such as cordless telephones. In addition to the excellent service and attention to detail that the hotel staff provides and Picho has great food!
Pros: Great service and a comfortable place to retire to at the end of a long day.
