Awful. Get to know typical horrible car mechanics that fail to address your problem with an expensive bill? This shop is one of them. Or even worse. Read on.

Long story short. My car's Check Engine Light was on due to random misfire; I need to fix it to pass the state inspection. I chose West Bellfort Complete Auto because most other mechanics around SW 610 do not have online reviews at all. Before I came, I called to ask their service warranty. And they said that their repair has half a year warranty. Okay.

To fix my car, they replaced multiple parts (temperature sensor, thermostat, etc), did some cleaning work, and charged $640. They let me pass the state inspection. Before driving my car away, I confirmed with them the warranty. ***However, they said the half-year warranty only applied to the parts they have installed. Very different from what they said over the phone previously.***

Unfortunately, one month after the repair, the Check Engine Light turned on again and it was still random misfire! I took the car back. This time they told me to replace fuel injectors and decarbonize the engine. ***Basically, their previous $640 repair was useless (of course, they will deny) and now they ask me to spend another multiple thousand dollars.***

***Poor communication.*** They take forever to call me back. On the first day, they promised to call in a few hours. No call at all. The next day, I had to call them back. Again, they said they would call on the same day. Again, no call at all. I waited for another day and called them back.

***Arrogant/offensive technician,*** who may appear okay in initial phone calls. This guy sneered and yelled at customers, accusing customers of using 'cheap gas' by saying 'only cheap person use them', and saying 'I wouldn't even use it on my dog' in referring to an OBD tool owned by the customer.

I used to only read online reviews. This time, I felt compelling to contribute one. And I post in multiple places.

Reasonably Priced, Straight-Forward Mechanic Shop. Timing belt in my audi was worn out, and the delearship quoted $2,300 just to replace it. Luckily, a friend recommended Bellfort Auto and they were able to do the job for under $600 instead. It's been over a year and I haven't encountered any problems with the repair.

I have since taken my car there on several occasions and have been pleased every time. The prices are very reasonable and I don't feel like they are trying to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman and (allegedly) don't know much about car repairs, which can so often be encountered in other shops. I have also never heard the owner push additional repairs on me - they only fix what's actually broken and not anything extra. Although the place is a bit of a drive form where I live, it's always worth it to take my car there.

THE BEST IN TOWN. VERY GREAT SERVICE, EXCELLENT WORK DONE,HONEST AND FAIR PRICES WAY ABOVE THE REST!!!!

I TOOK MY MERCEDES AFTER A CODE WAS FOUND AT THE DEALERSHIP THAT WOULD COST ME OVER $7000 FOR MULTIPLE PROBLEMS THAT HAD TO WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, THE DEALERSHIP SUGGESTED TO REPLACE A BIG AMOUNT OF WIRE AND HARNESS SO I TOOK MY VEHICLE OUT OF THE DEALER AFTER OVERHEARING THESE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE BRAGGING ABOUT THIS MECHANIC SHOP SO I TOOK A CHANCE AND I CAME AND HE WAS ABLE TO PINPOINT THE PROBLEM AND FIX THE PART OF THE WIRE AND HARNESS AND REPAIR THE VEHICLE FOR LESS THAN $1000 AND HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE SINCE THEN AND ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR ALL YOU VEHICLE NEEDS DON'T GO ELSEWHERE

I would not take my car anywhere else not even a dealership. My family and I have been using this place for over 7 years and we would not go anywhere else. The owner personally deals with customer and he is very honest and knowledgeable. He only recommends what is necessary to be done and does not try to sell any extra things that your car does not need. The prices are very reasonable and the work is great, I have never yet gone back for the same problem.

honest / excellent mechanic. fair prices. sometimes a bit of a wait.. This guys can fix anything and do any project you want. But if you're in a hurry you'd better check in up front and make sure he can deliver on your timing needs. He is very straightforward so if you can't deal with opinionated people this guy might not be for you. If you want an honest knowledgeable mechanic and need a fair price w bellfort auto should suit you well.

Please!! Do not go here!. This shop is awful! The owner is very rude (yells and argues with customers). Prices are high and repairs are done wrong - plus your car could be there for months - and chances are, even after being there for so long it will probably still be broken when you get it (as my car was). Be warned - do not, do not, do not go here.
