Best Chinese in the Med-Center. No MSG, always hot and fresh, great lunch menu.

How anyone could complain about the food quality is beyond me. The service, well there really is no service; order at the counter, they bring it to you.

Fast-food Chinese is not for everyone, but I think your hard pressed to find better Chinese food in the medical center area.

Try the Hot and Sour soup, perhaps the best in town (including Chinatown).

Average food. Horrible customer service. If you are really hungry and jonesing for some Chinese food, this place is OK - provided the grease doesn't bother you. If you find poor customer service irritating - steer clear.

Terrible Customer Service. I have always been extremely satisfied. Great food, fast, good prices, even deliver. That is...until *they* made a mistake. Please know that when *they* make a mistake with your order, all you're going to get is an apology. Nothing else. I ordered Vegetable Mu Shu, which is basically a bowl of vegetables that come with very thin papers, called crepes (similar to flour tortillas), and plum sauce. I had my order delivered, but they had forgotten the crepes and plum sauce. What is Mu Shu without the crepes and plum sauce? I called, and the girl who answered the phone apologized, and said that she remembered not putting them in the bag. She said she'd make a point to credit my account for next time. I asked her if I'd be getting a complimentary Mu Shu dinner next time. She said, no, just complimentary crepes and plum sauce. WHAT? No "I'll send some over right away." No "Your next dinner is on us." Just "We will credit you for the 15 cent crepes and plum sauce." I was livid. She just kept apologizing. I asked her how crepes and plum sauce for NEXT time would help me for THIS dinner. Again, an apology, but nothing else. I said, "You're going to lose a customer over crepes and plum sauce?" Again, an apology, but nothing else. I hung up on her. So spread the word - everything is great until THEY mess up. And if they do, don't expect ANY customer service. Just a really nice "Oh...sorry." I won't be back.

Editorial Review. Family-owned local favorite serves up super fresh and made-to-order Chinese food seven days a week.

House Special and 2nd Location. I'm really excited since I discovered there is a 2nd China Stix location out in Friendswood, much closer to where we live. Especially since none of the other Chinese restaurants out in the Clear Lake, Seabrook area even hold a candle to China Stix' great food.

PS: Try the House Special Pan Fried Crispy Noodles, that comes with beef, chicken and shrimp. It is so very good, and no other place makes anything like it. I love that their kitchen is open and you can see your meal being prepared. They deliver everything hot and fresh to your table, every time.

Pretty Good .... This is the only chinese restaurant inside the loop that I have ever found half way good food at. The food here isn't bad and dishes are prepaired fresh. The eggrolls are terrible but the fried dumplings are excellent. I have ordered 4 entrees from the menu and all were fine but really needed a little more spice added to them. I guess that if your in the mood for Chinese food then this is your best bet, however, I would recommend going instead to a Thai or Indian restaurant (especailly in Houston).
