You buy it, it is you baby. The _etter business bureau in Houston has suspended Conn's membership and the _etter business bureau may revoke Conn's membership. The Attorney General is investigating on-going complaints from Conn's customers regarding repair defective merchandise issues. My brother bought a Whirlpool washer/ gass dryer and a 52" Sony LCD from Conn's. The driver was called back to his house since there was a smell a gas and could be a gas leakage. The driver assured my brother and his family " it a smell of a new gas dryer". The next daye day, there was still a smell of gas in his laundry room. According the the gas company, the gas dryer was defective resulting the gas leakage. Conn's tech came over 3 days later and moved the gas dryer into his garage and left it there for over 2 weeks when part being ordered. I was an employee for Conn's for almost 5 years and no matter how I tried to help my brother by begging the mgr to exchange for him a new gas dryer instead waiting for a few weeks. The Mgr told me to get lost " I am simply working here, man. There is no exchange. If it is defective , Conn's will fix it. Plus I do not want a defective unit back in my store". I was shock at such unethical practice. After spending over $6,000.00 with Conn's, my brother told me: " Conn's is very irresponsbile. Conn's has put my family at risk with the gas leakage from the gas dryer. I will never shop at Conn's again." If your credit is not so good, you will be finance thru Conn's OFC ( high risk loan) but be very careful about the exchange policy with the defective products. Once you sign for and accept the delivery, it is your baby. It could take weeks if months to have it fix. You can google channel 26 to see the poor customer service from Conn's.
