Great shampoo. I had foot surgery and was instructed not to get my foot wet for 48 hours. I wanted to have my hair washed at a salon to simplify things. I chose TGF because it was close by and looked bright and clean.

The man who washed my hair was fantastic. He was very gentle and unlike other stylists I've had wash my hair, didn't claw at my scalp with his nails. He used tropical smelling shampoo and conditioner which was great.

I will definitely go back when it's time for my next haircut.

ask for tina. best haircut i've had in a long time. i will definitely go back there. i only have experience with tina and she is very careful and professional. she took her time to make sure everything was even which is something every haircutter should do. their prices are extremely reasonable. ask for tina, she has many years experience and is very conscientious. actually i can't wait to go back! great experience!

Never go here. Used to be a great stylist and haircutter that worked here but he's no longer with them. Sometimes the receptionist takes appointments and sometimes she doesn't (same woman). I went with my mom for us to both get haircuts and my mom went first. She wanted a little shorter cut than she already had and wanted it layered like a poster they had on the wall. The employee kept asking me how to cut it to get the hair to look like the poster, like I knew what to do; that's why we were there! And then she couldn't understand what my mom and I meant when we said layered, not one length. Finally, after 45 minutes to take off 1 inch from my mom's hair (no shampoo, no blowdry) we said forget it and left. I decided not to chance the woman screwing up my hair like she did my mom's. That was AFTER being there almost 2 hours because they wouldn't take an appointment, even though the several times I'd been before it had always been by appointment.
