Terrible!. I had several bad experienced here. Shirin is rude, never on time, unprofessional, inconsistent, and careless. She infected my upper lip by waxing aggressively and answering the phone during treatment. She once made me wait over 2 hours! I have no idea why I didn't walk out. I suppose when one needs a treatment, one persists. She waxed my lip along with my upper lip, which led to a swollen, infected lip! It was terrible. She also pressured me into purchasing several products which were ineffective. I was not at all impressed with her treatments, or with the manner in which she treated me as a customer. Never going back; don't waste your money.

I love this spa. I have been going to International Derma Spa for about 9 years now. Shirin is very friendly and professional. I have never heard her be rude to her staff or any customers so I am surprised to read the other comment saying she was rude. The salon is clean and welcoming. Occassionally appointments may run late but I just plan on being there for as long as it takes. It's a spa -- I have a spa day -- I'm not going to stress about it -- her talent is worth the wait. The treatments are so relaxing that I almost always fall asleep while getting my facials/microderm. My skin looks great. I have minimal if no wrinkles and I'm over 40. My 30-something friends ask me what my secret is and I tell them it's all Shirin and her techniques. I love her spa and I will continue to go there for as long as she is in the business.

Bad, bad, bad. I am shocked by previous reviews. I went one time and never again. She was over 1 hour late for my appointment and she yelled very rude remarks to her staff. She yelled at me and i was a customer. She even asked me if I could afford her treatment as she stated she caters to upscale clients.

There is no customer service and no professionalisim and I also found the salon to be unclean. The owner is the only one who performs the sevices.

Beware I have found many more salons with better prices and service

Complete Relaxation. Shirin is truly the best kept secret in Houston...I have been going to her over the last few years and she is truly the best in Houston...her facial is the best in the world..i have been to many places and no one tops her...the atmosphere and the sound of the running water make it truly a unique and relaxing experience...her cutting edge technology and her one on one attention make you feel wonderful...she makes you feel like one of the family....thank you Shirin....you are truly an angel

Best Kept Secret. I had very dry skin and lines due to sun damage....after a series of micorderm and laser treatments my skin is 20 years younger....i could not believe it....wow!!! Shirin is truly the best kept secret in Houston... the atmosphere and tranquility truly make it a euphoric experience...

Great service!. Derma spa is a wonderful experience. Sherin waxes the best eyebrows ever! They're not too thin like a nail salon would do...She really studies your face shape. The brazilian wax is quick and minimal pain. Facials are throrough. She will call back to schedule your appointment, works with you! Sometimes she does run a little late, but she is so talented it's worth the wait. When you go, don't have a crammed schedule, relax and enjoy.

Best Facial Ever. This place is truly special. I've been once every few weeks for the last few years, and have enjoyed each of the spa services offered -- but the facial is to die for. It's the best facial treatment that I've ever had, anywhere in the world, and that includes some really wonderful treatments at truly special spas in Europe. I've introduced my mother and a number of close friends to this small, almost hidden little spa, and each has been utterly delighted by the experience. Sherin is a gem. If you want to be pampered, this is your place.

Tardy but Talented. Shirin does the best extractions, but has been 15 or more minutes late every appointment, including when I've been the first client of the day. Staff tries to help but most do not speak English.

Internation Derma Spa!!!. I have been going here many years. Shirin is amazing!! and along with the rest of her corteous staff, they make it a great atmosphere and a great overall experience. With soft music playing and the trickle of a waterfall in the background, it all makes for a relaxing time... and their services are just as good. If you need a day away, the Internation Derma Spa is the place to go!!!
