The food is good as long as you do not have to order from or deal with the employee named Zeke. She is astonishingly rude. For some inexplicable reason, the owners have her as the only "face" of their business between 3-5 PM on Saturdays. She lies and says they are out of anything one wishes to order even when you can see the item on the shelf. She does not keep the ice container, the water container, nor the iced tea containers full. While customers wait, she stays on the telephone involved in what is obviously a personal call. If you call ahead, there is no answer, even after more that 30 rings. When you get there, she is on the phone and ignores you as she continues with her phone conversation. It is incomprehensible that the owners of this business keep this employee. She surely has cost them tons of money by alienating their customers. I have given the owners, who I like very much, the benefit of the doubt for more than three years with Zeke, but I will no longer be a customer. I do not need to be verbally abused by an ignorant employee of a business whose owners have this poor of judgment.

Rude Staff. I was so excited to try this place. I stopped in at 5:50 pm the other day (the sign says that it closes at 6pm). I walked in, and tried to order, but the lady at the counter refused to serve me! She asked what I'd like, and I asked about muffins, and she said none were left, even though she had two on a tray that she was unloading right in front of me! I pointed to them and asked what kind they were, and she told me. I asked for it, and she wouldn't let me buy it. She told me to come back the next day. Needless to say, I have not returned.

Skip it.. I've been to the Voss location twice and I won't be going back. Both times I've been there, they've been out of the bread that comes with the signature sandwiches. And the bread they do have has been gummy. The cold cuts they use are of the lowest quality and the sandwiches are all around forgettable. For the money they charge, you're much better off going to Central Market for the sandwiches and the bread.

It's hard enough finding a decent sandwich in this town. Don't make the mistake of thinking Stone Mill bucks the trend.

best cinnamon rolls anywhere. My mom always used to get the bread from the place and I remember it was always very good, but I don't remember what it was. I personally think cinnamon rolls whenever I think of Stone Mill. Not because they don't have other things, but because they are so good I don't think I have ever gotten anything else. They have a ton of different types and every single one is good.

Come here for lunch!!!. I used to work on West Alabama and would come here for lunch all the time. Our office moved to the Galleria area and I still drive over just to have lunch! It's delicious! Their sandwiches and cookies are worth the drive during Houston lunch hour. Best baked goods in town!!!!

Best Breakfast Breads!. The inside of this restaurant is not impressive, but the bakery's breakfast breads are to die for. I recommend the apple cinnamon bread. Take it to relatives and friends houses and share. It's great. Also, I've had lunch here a couple of times and the sandwiches are excellent.
