Nice dinner-and-wine deal for after shopping or before a movie. There's a great dessert selection, too, to indulge.

Consistently great. I live in New York in City of great Restaurant, and I know great food and good quality when I see it. I love their cakes and desserts. Their menu is on the cutting edge as far as freshness and healthy choices. My experience has been always pleasant. I prefer to go to this place rather than to any other fancy restaurants in Houston. They have recently added great choice of wines which I also love.

Love their cakes. My gf took me here a long time ago and I keep on coming back for their cakes! My family ordered so many of their cakes it's unbelieveable! My dad, who does not have a sweet tooth, loves their Pistachios Cake. This is the one cake we always order for birthdays. It's not your typical cake. I can go on and on about it. I love everything about this place... just need to get tired of their pistachio cake so I can try other ones!

Try Epicure for great dining. I have patronized Epicure for years & have always had excellent service & food. This is not an American Cafe. It is a Euroean style eatery. The owner has a dergree in restaurant & hotel management. He has always been very attentive to any of the customers I have seen there. He provdided a wedding cake for my wedding. We had the reception dinner at his restaurant & everything was great. The desserts have always been fresh. The food preparation is always the best. This is not a fast food restaurant. This place provides an atmosphere for casual dining & visiting. The owner told me once that he would prefer us to take our time & learn to enjoy ourselves dining. Please do not rush like Americans do. Read a paper or book or just visit. Great place to eat after a movie or just while out goofing off. Highly recommended.

YUCK. I got the key lime tart and holy moly I think it had been in the case for some time. It was awful. I asked to exchange it and I got "cheesecake" ....again, old and crusty. I think Sams Club does a much better job at desserts and that is pretty bad. How do they have 4 1/2 stars with two horrible reviews? I guess dont go by the stars ....go by the reviews.

HIRE ENGLISH SPEAKING LEGALS!. I've given this place many chances & it's not worth the hassle. The coffee is never hot, just warm. The times I've asked for warm cream the girls working there can't understand english. I feel like I'm in Mexico not an American European style cafe! I try to ask for HOT cream for my coffee but of course they just stare at me like I'm the one who's nuts for not speaking spanish. Whenever I try to ask about the menu they of course don't understand. I watch people order ignoring the fact that if they were to ask a question they would not get anywhere. I finally got so fed up I found the owner or manager whatever he was & asked for my money back , this being the last time I'd set foot in there. All the while the girls behind the counter were laughing at me. The manager who seemes to be of non-American culture himself said "yes I know they do not understand english." I said "then hire Americans who do!" He said he was sorry, but I have tried this place over the years off & on thinking maybe it changed but has yet to do so. Nothing is more Irritating than to ask for what you paid for & not get it along with having to deal with the staff not understanding english & the owners not doing anything about it! You can forget about being able to explain to anyone there that your order was wrong or you want hot coffee or hot milk for it, you won't get anywhere. It's ridiculous!!!! Oh, did I mention when I went to the bathroom one of the staff had not washed her hands & opened the exit bathroom door with her hand YUCK!

Tres Delicieux!. This place has a wide range of goodies to eat. Some are very delicate and light and some desserts and cakes are pure sinful! Everything that I have tried here is absolutely delicious. Try their Tiramisu cake, it's fantastic.
