Gary Hitt at the River Oaks location on South Shepherd has been graciously waiting on me for years. The other staff are helpful as well. I've taken shoes, purses and boots and been pleased with the color dyes, stretching, adding new leather handles, along with the usual heels, soles and polishing. Great service.

They got sole!. I've never had shoes re-soled before. I always just chucked them, but these were expensive and they were so comfortable. I decided to get them fixed. I was shocked by how great they turned out. I will be taking another pair there next week!

Awesome service. I've gone to this location for a few years and the staff and service is always wonderful. I've taken shoes and purses and everything is always fixed in a timely manner and the prices are reasonable. I've never had any issues with the service or the quality of their work-it's wonderful! I highly recommend them and will continue going there.

Great Service!. I have been going to the South Shepherd location for 10 years or more. They have done a great job repairing everything I take there and the service is very friendly. Just picked up a pair of Cole Haan boots that needed cleaning up for Fall and they look brand new. I highly recommend this location.

Outstanding!. I recently brought my favorite pair of heels in for repair. I was shocked to see that they not only repaired the heel but went the extra mile and refurbished the leather and fixed the soles! My shoes are brand new. I am very happy. Gary was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend the Shepherd location to everyone I know. Thanks!

Best Boot Repair. I thought I had worn out my favorite pair of hiking boots I like to wear on weekends. I was wrong. Knowing the quality of thier work from previous experience with them, I took the boots to Houston Shoe Hospital on S. Shephard. They did not disappoint. HSH returned my boots to almost brand newjust out of the box condition. Thank you HSH...Great work!

Extremely happy. Although I thought it was time that I replace a pair of my Cole Haans my wife took them to the shoe hospital to replace the heel and sole. It wasn't just the condition of the bottom sides though that I felt I needed to go buy another pair, it was the top sides. They were worn and I just couldn't get them shined up. In any regard, I would have felt like a fool if I had replaced them after I got them back from the Shoe Hospital. Not only were the heel and sole fixed like new, I don't know what they did, but the topsides haven't looked this good since I bought them. I would swear that they replaced them with new shoes, but I recognize the worn condition on the inside, which didn't need work. It's a little expensive at $70, which included reconditioning, but it would cost me almost twice that to replace them and then at least a week to break them in. I am extremely happy.

Shoes look like new!. I wore a hole thru the soles of my favorite shoes so I decided to get them fixed after checking the price on a new pair. When I brought the shoes into Houston Shoe Hospital on South Shepherd, they asked if I wanted them to refurbish the leather as well. I thought why not it wasn't much more. I was shocked at the difference when I picked them up. They looked like they did when I bought them.The overall cost was half what a new pair would have cost me plus these are already broken in. Good deal for a "new" pair of shoes.

Houston Shoe Hospital is the BEST. I have used the South Shepherd location for many years and have never been disappointed... might find a cheaper repair place, but will likely never find an equal as far as quality. Just picked up my loafers and they'll likely have at least another two years of good wear in them.

Can't recommend Houston Shoe HOspital enough... they're great... fast, fair prices, and quality workmanship.

Thank You. I wanted to let you know that I received my shoes today via FedEx. Both pairs look beautiful; you did exactly what you said, which was repair my shoes properly. That is all I wanted, and the shoes now look like what I'd originally expected. I also like the new soles you added. I tried on the shoes and my favourite pair (the two-tone pump) is just a bit tighter; I am assuming it is just the cleaning solution and the leather will stretch. Overall, the shoes look just perfect. Thanks again for following up with my complaint, I do appreciate it.
