THE BEST. The very best in Houston!!!!!! Great food, service, margaritas and very clean. Great atmosphere too.

Homemade Authentic Mexican Food. I have been going to El Imperial on Federal Road for 20 years. Excellent food, friendly staff, great service!

Better side. Now that El Imperial has remodeled it has improved the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It is much more livelier and of course is now much larger than before making it great for parties. I really enjoy the new look and needless to say the food is still the same.

Good food, Bad Service. The food was great and the waitstaff was good, attentive. The downside was the hostess and their phone manner. Very rude, unfriendly, acted as if it was a bother to be talking to me. Had no idea who was in charge. since this a planned event, I could not change it. but had I called for myself, I would never have given this place a chance. The staff upfront are the first contact a patron has, and if this place does train them better, no one will know how good their food is.
