Tips for CiCi's Pizza Buffet

July 15, 2008

A wide range of flavorful pizza pies--combined with the family-friendly buffet and affordable prices--are this regional chain's cornerstone.. In Short
Cici's first opened in Plano, Texas, in 1985 and has since spread to locations throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Known for its one low, all-you-can eat price, the buffet-style restaurant boasts 16 different types of fresh pizza--from tomato and spinach Alfredo to zesty ham, barbecue and Sicilian deep-dish pies--as well as pasta, salad and desserts. Only 100 percent whole milk mozzarella is used and the sauces and dough are made fresh daily.

Geez. Are you kidding me? On the top ten of Houston? C'mon guys you can do better than CiCis. I find it hard to believe that ANYTHING would come in after this cardboard-selling chain restaurant. It has a decent value for all that one can eat. If you're going to eat a lot and you don't really care about how good it tastes, then I highly recommend it. Otherwise, if you're really not going to each that much, just order out to some place more fancy... like Dominos (sarcasm).

What's wrong with everyone?. How can CiCi's be on the list of best pizza in Houston? It is NOT good pizza! A good place to bring the kids for cheap? Sure, but to rate this pizza as good is wrong!

If you want good pizza, go to Brother's Pizza in the Woodlands or Greenspoint mall - authentic NY pizza!

great value, ok pizza. the pizza isn't that great, but at the price, and with wide variety at its buffet, it is definitely a bargain in Houston, even the carryouts. Their cinnamon rolls are good, I like them very much. They're second to Cinnabon's cinnamon rolls (but I haven't had many cinnamon rolls to be honest -- not a big eater of those). Also, if you want a good pizza at Cici's, have them make it for you (they won't charge u if u pay for the buffet and ask for a specific kind of pizza). I've done this a couple of times and the pizza tends to be better tasting than those at the buffet. I wonder how they make a profit... maybe it's by the drinks? Hm. I ask for water anyways. LOL.

Value. While certianly not the best tasting pizza, CiCi's is an amazing value. The pizza is good, the salad bar is good, and the desserts are great. All this is all you can eat for around 5 bucks. Not bad at all when you're a college student!

GET OUTTA TOWN. Absolutely the worst pizza by far. Actually it tastes more like fake pizza. I'd much rather have the frozen stuff in the supermarket.

Good value for kids only. This is mass market, family food geared toward providing a cheap meal for children.

ya gotta be kidding!. This has got to be the worst pizza ever - the only positive is that is is cheaper than frozen!

Cici's No No. I ate this pizza once and once was enough. This pizza is more for kids than for adults with a significantly immature taste similar to Spagetti O's.
