In Short – The big draw here is the incomparable view of White Oak Park in the foreground, with the downtown skyline shimmering in the distance. A bowtie pasta dish crowned with a chunk of blackened tuna is satisfying, if a tad over-sauced. Even a dinner salad, splashed with a lemony house vinaigrette, is well executed. Bar food is nothing to shy away from either. A nacho platter using red tortilla chips is the perfect complement for drinks on the patio.
TERRIBLE!!!!!

Terrible, had very greasy mushrooms (qty 10) for $7.95. Ordered caeser salad and waitress asked if I wanted chicken. I assumed chicken was extra and said "no". I was charged $8.95 for salad with chicken. When I asked the waitress about it she said "I asked you if you wanted chicken." My response to that was why was I asked if I wanted chicken if it came on the salad as if it was extra. Husband had pork chop special. It was special all right - especially bad. Overcooked potatoes that had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for awhile, overcooked and tasteless green beans. I spent $40 there and had to go to Taco Bell afterward because I was still hungry. I could have had 2 steak dinners, 2 Foster beers and a wonderful mushroom appetizer for the same amount. Please save your money and an agrument with your spouse and go somewhere else.
- Pros: Friendly Waitstaff
- Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE
Best Breakfast

I hate eating breakfast out because it's almost always bad but not at King Biscuit. They really get it right here and the staff is very friendly. Just please, don't everyone rush there at once. I still want to be able to get a table. Good burgers and such as well.
- Pros: Great breakfast, friendly staff
Great little neighborhood spot

I haven't been to King Biscuit in well over a year. I went for dinner last week and to unwind after work and it was very nice. The food was average, which is fine - hot, fresh and basic. The service was very nice and that nice neigborhood feel was perfect. There was a band playing in the back and it was really a nice evening to grab a bite, have a drink and just unwind. I will be going back a lot more frequently.
- Pros: Comfortable atmosphere, full bar
- Cons: Parking can be a bit odd
