The Goods
Montana shows customers pairs of custom-designed boots, and they can decide what skins, style and colors they prefer. He then consults about the design, then traces their feet on a manila folder. Patterns are cut, and the process begins. Prices for a leather pair average $500, while more exotic skins start at that price, he says.
