Daragh Carter is a jewel. He handled my case against Kroger and Nestles while keeping me calm in the process. There were many times I wanted to go very "left". Each blamed the other for my accident. In the end, he worked it out where their low ball offer after 10 months and 3 days was raised to a number I was very satisfied to hear. I am more than pleased with Smith & Hassler and overly abundantly excited Daragh came through for me! Yes, highly recommended.

Daragh Carter @ Smith & Hassler is the most amazing lawyer you could EVER have on your case! My son was in a serious car accident. We called Smith and Hassler I had no idea lawyers like Daragh Carter existed. Instead of explaining my case to you. I feel what Daragh does stands out beyond most lawyers. Within 15 mins. Of you first consult with Daragh, You will know he is the BEST for your case. Daragh, listens & I mean really listens 100% focused on You, while you explain what happened. Once, Daragh takes your case.He keeps you posted as to what's going on almost daily. If you think of something, you want to ask him. I would either call him & I was put straight through or if I emailed him, He ALWAYS replys within 5 to 10 mins. My son & I visited Daragh one time. & He took it from there!! I trusted him handling a case that involved my youngest son. From one parent to another we love our children. Give Daragh 15 mins. You & your loved ones are worth it! Excellent Houston personal injury attorneys.  My wife was rear-ended on the 610 loop near the galleria. The other driver barely touched his brakes and knocked her clear 5 lanes across the highway and into the concrete wall. Our BMW (that we'd had all of a few months) was destroyed. My wife was taken by ambulance to memorial hermann. She followed up with an orthopedist and had an MRI to check her low back. I chose one of Al Hassler's attorneys to advise us and I'm glad I did: I didn't know anything about auto insurance or what's fair, so I wanted the expertise. We got an above blue book settlement on the car, all Medical expenses and her lost wages were covered and there was money left over to compensate my wife. The smith & Hassler attorney also told me about PIP coverage on our own policy (I didn't even know we had it) which meant we got extra dollars on the claim. These guys are well organized and gave us really solid legal advice.

I would highly recommend!!. The attorney we used was Daragh Carter. Excellent!! We had a auto accident and received a very nice settlement and then was surprised by another settlement months later. Even when I thought we don't have a chance in the world winning, Daragh did:) Every time I came up with a reason why we wouldn't he had a reason why we should win. Very positive. Stayed in contact with me many times. Always answered when I called or emailed him. He is so down to earth I felt like he was part of the family. We were treated like it was a huge case and very important to him that we were treated fairly. I always recommend Smith and Hassler (Daragh) to anyone who needs an attorney. I doesn't cost anything to talk to them and if you need to see a doctor they can help with that also. I just can't say enough good things about the firm but you need to see for yourself so please call them if you need help.

A waste of time. I spent a long time on the phone with a lawyer. He seemed pleasant and concerned. He promised a return call in two days. More than two weeks later, still no call. I talked to a receptionist who wouldn't put me through to this man and just told me they couldn't help me. I can understand that but at least he could have called and told me that and told me why. He had the receptionist give me a number to a lawyer referral service. Once they heard who had referred me, they couldn't offer me much help in any other referrals. So, the hospital involved in our case will get away with murder again. Don't people just offer simple courtesy anymore? Certainly not this big company with its grandiose promises and high budget TV ads made off the horryfying suffering of the "little people" out here in the real world.

THE VERY BEST!. Not too long ago I was in a car accident, I promptly called Smith & Hassler and the staff there was most helpful, from the receptionist to the attorneys there was always someone ready to help me. My calls never got lost in their voicemail system as they always called me back right away. Not only did they get a good settlement for me but they also worked w/the doctors I saw to reduce their bills. I was very impressed at how attentive they were throughout the whole process and how they basically got me through this trying time. THANK YOU SMITH & HASSLER!

SMITH & HASSLER WILL ABANDON YOU!. I had an auto accident in July 2006, where a drunk driver slammed into me on the freeway and was convicted for his crime. I immediately went to Smith and Hassler for help. After accepting my case and making me sign all these legal documents, THEY NEVER RETURN MY CALLS OR EMAILS. I was being forwarded to "my lawyer's" voicemail time and time again 6 MONTHS AFTER HE HAD LEFT THE FIRM!!!!! This case should have been an open-shut case, but I still have medical bills pending AND I HAD TO RESOLVE GETTING MY CAR REPAIRED AND OBTAINING A RENTAL CAR. My car insurance GEICO was more helpful during this troublesome time than MY LAWYER! I WOULD STONGLY NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO SMITH AND HASSLER FOR HELP!!!
