Becky cut my hair and it was such a good cut that it grew out perfectly for a little over two months. That's a long time to not need to go back for a trim while you're growing your hair out. VENUS HAIR is the best!

After tiring of pricey spas and
egotistical 'hair designers' I discovered Venus Hair in the Heights. I've been going to Becky for at least 2 years now, she's always been honest (and tactful) and has not given me a bad haircut or style spite some of my demands. Today was especially well done - I walk in the door without saying where I've been and husband says 'oh, I like your hair.' Good job, Becky!
Also discovered one other thing...it's a place with people you can trust. What can be better than that.

My stylist of many years recently retired and my search for a new one ended when I went to Venus Hair. Katy gave me the best haircut of my life. I have never had so many compliments on a haircut/style! It's always scary when you have someone new cut your hair, but Katy and everyone at Venus made me feel right at home and put my nerves to rest. The atmosphere is awesome, too. Love the retro vibe and there is always something new to see in the decor. Best in Houston in my opinion! Thanks again, Katy!!

She's the only one who I will let cut my hair!. Everyone at Venus is friendly and welcoming and its such a treat to see all the decorations and costumes throughout the store. But Becky is the reason why I come. She is awesome! I have thin hair with cowlicks and she manages to surprise me each time I go with a great cut! Thanks again, Becky!

Best cut of my life!.
I went to Venus hoping to find my new hairstylist and I found her!!!! Becky gave me the best cut of my life! I went from having shoulder length hair to a pixie and not only did she not make me look like a man, she made me look fabulous! I cannot wait to go back to her!
I also loved the fact that the salon left the door open and gave treats to visiting 4 legged friends as they passed. What a welcoming place.

Becky at Venus Hair a Color Artist. WOW WOW WOW !!! Everyone was totally loving the bright red and purple short shag cut designed by Becky at Venus Hair. We at VENUS HAIR are happiest when given free range when it comes to Color and design.. Yes Becky is an artist, her pallet and medium are the hair on your head, if you're adventurist, that's great if you want something more conventional...we are ready and able to oblige...Give us a chance to create a brand new you, or just make an improvement on your now fab look... Venus Hair is the Best By Far!.
I love going to Susan Venus or Venus Hair! She is amazing and kind about everything!!! I love her and feel loved when I go in there. There are always Tootsie Pops waiting to for me in case I am on the run. If I am late, it is not a crisis and I don't get yelled at.
Oh and the cuts, that is right! The cuts are always great. If I tell her I have a conventional event tomorrow, I get a the appropriate cut. If I want a summer cut; she cuts it short. If I want to try something new she does!I love Venus! She has welcomed my family as well, and loves them the way I do! She has asked that I am bring them back. My parents are older and don't get around so well, and she makes them feel right at home. They have been happy with their cuts too!
I was given Venus Hair's name and number years ago, and found I needed it this year! It has been a joy getting to know the people there. It is also on my favorite street in the Heights. I love the Bead Shop, and Art Show there. So go there and check it out!
