Cool Quirky Gifts. This is such a cool shop. I searched on Google for Trapp Candles in Houston and came across their Citysearch listing. i went in to buy the candles not knowing what to expect. It turned out to be a cool, quirky little shop in The Heights. Definitely recommend.

The Scene
This Houston Heights shop carries shabby chic-style pieces like wrought-iron bed frames, candelabras and trellises, along with Trapp Candles and sconces. Jubilee opened five years ago to accommodate the demand for its famous hand-turned potpourri. Back then, the owners peddled it at craft fairs. Today you can find huge cement containers of the yummy concoctions in sugar cookie, orange vanilla, fresh lemonade and café mocha.
The Goods
If mouth-watering scents don't liven up the household, heat up the décor with clocks, picture frames and telephones covered in faux leopard fur. Perhaps you would rather wear animal prints on your back. The whole back section of the shop is devoted to retro-wear, and you can find outfits, purses and flip-flops with leopard-fur designs. You can knock yourself out with the psychedelic or very pink look. Top it off with reproductions of vintage jewelry or sunglasses of the cat's eye, leopard and velvet variety.

JUBILEE ROCKS. THIS IS MY FAVORITE STORE IN THE WORLD, I LOVE THE EXCITMENT IT BRINGS WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. ALL THE SMELLS, COLORS, AND TEXTURES THAT GREET YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN IS WHAT MAKES THI SHOP SO SPECIAL. THIS STORE IS PERFECT FOR THE WHIMSICAL AT HEART
