Cute Boutique for Free People / Bohemian Clothes. I buy most of my clothes from here. Edin is one of the few places in Houston where you can find a wide array of clothes from Free People. They rarely have the same pieces as Urban Outfitters or Urban Rendezvous. The owner is incredibly sweet and doesn't pressure shoppers to buy. If she doesn't know how a dress will flatter your body, she'll tell you. She doesn't have ready-made sales pitches like a lot of other places. She's knowable with the history and materials of the lines she carries (FP, Kenzie, Joe's, small NY artistic designers, etc). Great destination for unique flats/boots/sandals. It also has a small men's section. Their sales are pretty good, but usually only L and XL are left, so get them fast! Beware: CHECK your receipt with some of the YOUNG salespeople. I once bought a $300 dress (total splurge) that was supposed to be 30% off. After buying a lot of stuff, I didn't realize afterwards the stupid clerk DIDN'T give me the discount. However, I think she got fired. After great shopping, you can go across the street to Brazil and have a refreshing drink.

Awkward vibe (no music) , sizes restricted, original things. As I was walking down Dunlavy I (finally) saw edin, the cute window display caught my eye.. I decided to take a look-see. As I opened the door , the rude sales associate was reading , didnt say hello, and there was NO music! I felyt like I was being watched the whole time .. She kept "walking past my fiitiing room" . For a Saturday , the stor was empty , i can tell why now. ALTHOUGH they do have very cute things, original, and a little pricy but still alot of one of a kind stuff.

we need more LA style boutiques. GET upgraded houston!

A super stylish clothing shop where both the teen scene and the business-casual crowd can mix.. In Short
The interior of this bohemian boutique, set on the main drag of the Historic Heights, is stripped down and plush at the same time. Miss Sixty jeans, Paul Frank tees and accessories, cocktail dresses and a slew of skirts fill out the racks and stacks. While the trendy clothing, handbags, jewelry and a smattering of fun shoes are high on style, they are actually quite light on price.

changed a bit but still good. i used to buy almost all of my clothing from edin back at its old location but they have changed up the inventory a bit. for a while they were the only place to find miss sixy jeans and now they carry none. still a great place to shop
