I am a new customer to Jester Plaza Vet Clinic and have been thoroughly impressed by their attention to the special needs of my pet. On two separate occasions Dr. Burda has emailed me with detailed advice on what to do for my collie. He is not trying to push a particular product, but instead is genuinely concerned with finding answers for your animal and your situation. He gives advice on what he would do if it was his dog/cat, etc. This new customer has been very pleased with the services she has been provided!

I've been taking my cats and dogs to Jester Plaza Vet Clinic since 2009, and I'm really pleased by their caring and concern about my pets. Dr.Burda and Dr.Shaver take the time to explain everything that's going on with my animals, and answer any questions that I have. They are as helpful and knowledgeable about routine exams, yearly vaccinations, check-ups as they are about more complex cases: My dog had ACL tears in both knees 2 years ago, and recently a young cat with kidney failure, and the treatment and advice I received have been excellent. The staff are very nice and friendly and treat my pets like they were their own.

Dr. Burda and Dr. Shaver are top notch veterinarians. My dogs have been going there since 2001, and I have never been disappointed. The service is thorough and professional, and my 2 aging dogs were treated and bathed with the utmost care. They really take the time to know your animals and their personalities, and when the time came for me to make the tough decision to euthanize my dogs, Dr. Burda was very patient with me and let me hold my dogs in my arms as they passed. My newest dog day boards and weekend boards there quite often, and he LOVES getting to play with the other big dogs. He always comes home freshly bathed and since I board him about twice per month, it is great and worth the money to have a CLEAN dog!!!!!!!!!!

I've been a happy customer for 4 years. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Pricing is fair for the area and whether I'm taking my dog in for grooming, boarding or medical needs I always leave completely satisfied. I hope to keep using Jester Plaza and Dr. Burda for many more years to come.

Dr. Burda, his wife Trish and the entire staff (I wish I could name them all) are the most competent, caring and compassionate group of people I’ve ever done business with! We have been bringing our precious pets to Jester Plaza Veterinary Clinic for many years and are always pleased with great service and fair prices. In addition to attending to the healthcare needs of our pets they offer daycare and boarding at a reasonable price, in a nice facility. My dog is always very excited to spend the day with the girls at the front desk. I highly recommend Jester Plaza Veterinary Clinic

We can't say enough about how wonderful everyone is at Jester Vet Clinic! We have been taking our dogs there for 10+ years and plan on many more years to come. It truly is a staff that shows real care and concern about your pet's health. From the cordial greetings to the thoroughness of everyone it makes for a pleasant visit. I bring my dog, Zoe to the clinic from Bacliff (close to Galveston). Zoe loves the clinic staff and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. I found the clinic thru my sister who has always raved about the staff and doctor(s). I see why. Thanks for taking such good care of Zoe.

I recently moved to Houston and needed a new vet. Jester Plaza Veterinary Clinic is right around the corner from where I live, so I decided to try it out after my dog, Spot, came in from the backyard with his right eye swollen shut. Dr. Shaver determined he was likely allergic to something in the yard, gave him an antibiotic cream for his eye as well as a steroid/antihistamine. Both eyes are wide open now, and he's back to his old self. I highly recommend Dr. Shaver, the vet techs and the front-desk staff. Spot and Dolly, my other dog who came along for moral support, even got a postcard the very next day welcoming them as patients.

I have taken my cats and dogs to Dr. Burda for about 20 years. He has cared for them from babyhood to end of life. I feel that he cares about them and is compassionate toward me when I am worried. He is keenly observant of their symptoms and changes in behavior, and he keeps working with them until he can figure out what is wrong. You know that's hard sometimes because pets can't talk. He always explains things to me, shows me the X-rays, and discusses options. He has let me visit my pets and sit with them when they were hospitalized. Dr. Burda's wife Trisha and assistant Hubert are also absolutely wonderful. I feel very blessed to have a team of such fine people to care for the health of my pets.
