Heights Station is a one of a kind, charming antique shop.

Lots of grandma's old stuff reasonably priced. The great old building qualifies as an antique. I like the idea that something is always on special and many if not most of the prices are negotiable. Nice stained glass, furniture, books, nic/nacs and whatever. The dealers are friendly and helpful but they leave you alone to look around on your own. There's something new every time I go there and I was told that new merchandise comes in almost every day. Plan on spending at least an hour or more. There's lots to see and you'll miss a lot if you just dash through. Oh yeah, and they're open every day of the week!
- Pros: Right on Heights Boulevard about half way between the Westheimer and Heights antique centers.
- Cons: Summertime it's hot but spring and fall are comfortable times to go.

This shop is a hidden little gem. Heights Station is a co-op and there are around 7 different dealers, with different tastes, yielding great variety. You might have to dig alittle but you will find all sorts of treasures, old and new, vintage and antique. The place has a great atmoshere for antique hunting, as it used to be an old carriage house and is right next to working railroad tracks, very charming. It is almost like you have stepped back in time. The folks there are very accommodating and helpful. It is off the beaten path, but well worth a stop and the prices are very reasonable.
- Pros: great prices- friendly helpful shop owners
- Cons: no airconditioning but lots of fans
