The Scene – The restaurant is fairly spacious, with a huge outdoor patio and an expansive indoor section with a dance floor. Cajun food is the specialty of the house. Aside from serving food and spirits, Jax doubles as one of the city's top zydeco haunts. I particularly enjoyed the chicken fried steak...tender inside with a "just right" batter crunch. And wow...the food was prepared quickly.

jealous bartnders,been going to Jax for years,asked bartender about an old employee and didn't know I wasn't going to be served again because of ignorance. even gave a tip on the first round. went back and didn't know i was being ignored.that's the last $39.00 Jax will get from me.
