In Short
From the front, the Art Car Museum looks like some sort of hybrid of structures from the "Mad Max" movies and the ice planet Hoth. Rings of silver barbed wire loop above the covered walkway, the roof is marked by metal spires, and silver spikes adorn the trim. Muster the courage to step inside, and you'll see a sampling of Houston's finest art cars, possibly Jim Harrison's Jet Car and Larry Fuente's truly frightening Rex Rabbit. Vast numbers of photos chronicle various aspects of this automotive art.

Looking for something to do on a lazy afternoon with no cash on hand. Go to the art car museum! It is soo awesome. It is amazing what some people can do with these cars! Go check it out! If you have ever gone to the art car parade then you would love this museum. If you have never seen an art car I am sure you would love it too! I keep going back! PROS: free, very neat CONS:
