In Short
"The Mine" is a tacky bar where single gay men in their 30s and beyond dust off leather and Levi's for a night of trolling. The exotic dancers are a pleasant distraction and the outdoor patio and deck affords a nice view of the area, but one is left with the impression that there's nothing left to mine but refined memories. They love their trash disco (think Grace Jones or The Village People) here. To keep things interesting, prize giveaways, $2.25 well drinks, $2 domestic bottles and $1 mugs of Shiner are featured daily.

This is an awesome place to go if you want to meet someone, see dancers, hear awesome music, and enjoy a great covered patio. The only downfall to this place is that the music is so good that you can't dance because of VERY LIMITED SPACE. Mining Company used to have great customer service, now the bartenders and other workers act like they just really don't want to be there and could just care less. You would think that with all the clientell that this club brings in that it would continue to keep up it's customer service and client relation.

Now this was a great place. Down to earth security guy at the door inviting you in. No cover when I was there after midnight on Saturday evening, 9/8. A pleasure to go back time and time again to the consistency of good southern hospitality and no attitude. Drinks were cheap and strong. service was fast and friendly. Dancers were very hot. I enjoyed playing pool in the back. I will return. FUN FUN FUN!
