In Short – "The Mine" is a tacky bar where single gay men in their 30s and beyond dust off leather and Levi's for a night of trolling. The exotic dancers are a pleasant distraction and the outdoor patio and deck affords a nice view of the area, but one is left with the impression that there's nothing left to mine but refined memories. They love their trash disco (think Grace Jones or The Village People) here. To keep things interesting, prize giveaways, $2.25 well drinks, $2 domestic bottles and $1 mugs of Shiner are featured daily.
