Everyone goes to The Usual now... Chances is OLD NEWS.
Concensus for a long time has been that Chances is not the place to go anymore. The staff is horrible and rude and many (not all) of the people that go there are trash. My group of friends went there for years supporting this bar and now the punks that work the door or bartend have made us so mad we have left to go elsewhere when we hadn't planned on leaving... the last time we walked away from the door person because she was extremely rude.. this was a large group of people celebrating a birthday party and the place was empty... (i.e. there's always one person that still wants to go there on their b-day... not any more). You also have to worry about your car getting broken into in the area or dealing with some scammer that the allow in the place....and it doesn't feel safe. And when I say scammer, i mean regular male scammers that mess with you.
Live music and the action is over at The Usual Pub on Allen St...They just won Best Lesbian Bar in Outsmart Magazine... Forget Chances.

We need a real Lesbian bar.. The staff is TERRIBLE!!!! Please hire new staff! You will continue to lose all your customers.

What's wrong with chances?. OK, let me start off by saying I really used to like this bar! ALOT! They got a nice makeover and were really starting to keep up with the other clubs. But the last few months I've noticed the bar staff has become rude and slow - like maybe they're messed up. I mean, there's no need to cop an attitude and huff just because someone orders a mixed cocktail that takes a little effort - if I just wanted a beer I'd stay home! Besides that's what a bartender is supposed to do MAKE DRINKS! And what's up with the DJ's and bands? The DJ's are starting to play the same tired mix each week. And it used to be bands EVERY week, like twice a week, now it's just once or twice a month - and with bad feedback. What's going on? Come on Chances, I want to like you again.

lil gangstas and old alcholic lez. This bar has turned to crap......they have the lil gangstas crowd there on weekends and the old alcholic lez durring the week. This club is not what it use to be.....WE NEED A NEW CLUB FOR LADIES IN HOUSTON, one that is not TRASH

i had a blast!. a good time! a friend brought me out there for the first time a couple a months ago and i can't get enough. i usually go on the weekends bc i luv that i can sing karaoke then walk over to the next section and dance!! tons of fun, i'm sweet to them and they're sweet to me!

Step It UP!!!. Chances is defiantly not my favorite place to go!!!! The staff is rude. The girls are not cute!!!! Eden is defiantly the place to go. Chances needs to step it up a notch, or two. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. EDEN RULES!!!!

Very nice place. I would like to say that this is a really nice place. Free to get in most nights and Worry free that you might get robbied or assualted. Friendly staff and customers I say keep the great job up Chances.

Bad Service, Bad Attitudes. I am truly disappointed and disgusted with how bad this club has gotten. Their bar staff is absolutely the rudest at any of the ladies clubs in Houston. It seems like everyone from the door staff to the bartenders has a BAD ATTITUDE! Hey, this is a "service" industry, if you can't be friendly and welcoming to ALL your customers then you're in the wrong business...get a day job! There are horribly long waits for drinks (even when it's not busy) oh, and don't even think about ordering anything other than a beer, wine or vodka tonic, if it takes an effort or has more than 2 ingredients you'll get a dirty look. (it's happened to me and my friends on more than one occasion). My last visit was the last straw, I won't be back unless they get a new crew and new management. Their whole rebuild was a waste with a staff like that!
