What People Are Saying About Baby Barnaby's Cafe

The Scene – A cozy booth in the tiny dining room at Baby Barnaby's (next door to Barnaby's proper) is a coveted spot for lazy weekend mornings. Diners autograph a pad of paper posted just inside the front door to reserve a table, then read newspapers or people-watch on the front porch. – – The Food – Following in its proud papa's footsteps, Baby serves traditional American and comfort food, but specializes in breakfast fare. The terse blackboard menu offers simple morning pleasures, nothing fancy: eggs (any style), biscuits and gravy, english muffins, homemade pancakes…
Incredible Service!

this was our first visit to Baby Barnaby's, we frequent Barnaby's(Midtown) often. we did have a wait as we arrived after 12:00 p.m. it was not painful at all, as we quickly poured a cup of coffee and enjoyed the people watching until we were seated.
the service is great and they are very accommodating to any request. my husband ordered the apple pecan pancakes and i ordered the corn beef hash. his serving was easily enough for two(or 3). be aware that they make these as ordered, so there is a wait time you should factor in. definitely worth the wait. my corn beef hash was not what i expected. it was not terrible, however i probably will not order it again. the potatoes were wonderful, but there were so many and the beef was minimal and dry. i wish i would have asked for a detail of this dish as it's not the traditional CBH i was anticipating.
the customer service definitely compensated for any disapppointment otherwise(thanks Jose!). we are already discussing what we will try the next time we visit Baby Barnaby's
- Pros: Customer Service, Cool Scene
- Cons: Parking
Favorite place for breakfast

I don't know if it's the amazing banana-walnut pancakes or the personalized service, but Baby Barnaby's is the perfect place for a Sunday morning breakfast. Be sure and get there right when it opens or plan on a 15+ minute wait for a table. They have coffee for those waiting. The waiters are very personable and do a great job managing a very busy place. I don't know what else to say except give it a try.
- Pros: A+ service, pancakes, coffee
- Cons: There's often a wait, no parking
Wonderful!! Great Service!

My husband and I go there frequently for breakfast and have always enjoyed it. The waiters are attentive and always accommodating. The coffee is great and so is the food. I have no complaints about the wait, the service or the food and we go at the most crowded times.
- Pros: Great food and service
- Cons: Parking
