Citysearch Editorial Review. Formerly Diedrich's, this coffee shop has changed in name but not in quality. Coffee snobs and bums alike have come here for years to enjoy a cup of drip coffee. Try several varieties of mocha (peppermint, Mayan, caramel, macadamia nut) or pick up a bag of single-origin beans from the Pacific Islands. Dirk's usually friendly baristas provide quick service and short lines for those on the go and, for the malingerers, a quiet unobtrusive atmosphere often occupied by focused patrons perusing papers at the café tables. Situated right on Montrose, it's an ideal place to sit and watch life stream by.

Best Montrose Coffee Shop. Love their toffee latte. Also great place to walk to with your dog to enjoy a cup on the patio.
