“the deserts are nice looking but kinds of stale.”
“would rate this as one of the best burgers in town - tasty but not greasy ground beef, good quality veggies, and a decent roll.”
“Lots of variety on the menu and the food is fresh.”
“Dirty restaurant with less than friendly staff.”
“Always good food for a good price.”
never going back. I will never go there again. The patrons are rude, self-centered, obnoxious people. Tonight was the final straw. We ordered food, sat on the patio hoping to enjoy the evening. Soon we were overrun by loud, ugly teens who took over the patio. We took our food inside to try to finish our meal. But no! all tables were full and those that were open had been reserved by people who had not even ordered their food yet. A lady came over and said that we needed to move because she had personally reserved three tables and we were sitting at one of them. We blasted back that we thought we had every right to sit there and she should just get over it. This is not the kind of place you want to go to enjoy a pleasant meal. The food is great but the clientèle has a huge feeling of entitlement. I will never go back, too many other places that are more pleasant.
With its reputation as a sports bar for 10-year-olds, this lively place has found its niche among the minivan crowd..
In Short
From its original West U location, Skeeter's has expanded to suburban outposts in Sugar Land, Town and Country and The Woodlands by sticking to its formula: moderately priced comfort foods in a casual, low-hassle atmosphere. While you may not want to show up on weekends without your own soccer team, the weekday lunch hour tends to attract a mature crowd. Enjoy sandwiches, grilled chicken salads and ice-cold beer.
Overall - A Big Hit!!. Have spent more money here over the years than all the other restaurants combined. Always good food for a good price. Burgers, enchiladas, fijitas, beer and smooth margaritas by the pitcher - what else can you ask for? Give the kids a roll of quarters and enjoy the company. You'll always know someone in this place.
Nothing Spectacular. It is a kid friendly place, but was disappointed in the video games. Only 5 or six, and all cramped in one tiny corner. TV was not impressive. What the kids liked best was the paper on the table and drawing all over it, as well as on the bricks on the wall. Food is good, but nothing to go out of your way for.
Just plain average. it's OK, nothing to rave about. The food is pretty much the same as everywhere else; the menu is not special. the burgers leave a lot to be desired, the fries are not good, just fillers. the salad is big, good enough. the deserts are nice looking but kinds of stale. Too many kids, but otherwise average.
Great burger. I would rate this as one of the best burgers in town - tasty but not greasy ground beef, good quality veggies, and a decent roll. The fries were just ok but those are just filler anyway.
