“The chocolate fantasy dessert I was told was very good with a surprise coconut taste that made it very enjoyable.”
“highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends, what I like it about it the most it's kind of off beaten path away from the crowd of people who don't appreciate a sports bar.”
“The food is tasty as well not your typical sports bar food, the staff is always warm and friendly.”
“Overall if you are looking for a nice atmosphere and good microbrew beer, you found the place, but eat before you come here.”
“say about the service "what service" SLOW & SORRY.”
“There are way too many other good places to eat in the Village to waist my money and time there.”
“Eat Elsewhere but drink here, and expect slow service.”
I believe this location closed in September. FYI
New BrewMaster is Great!!!!. They recently got a new brewmaster and the quality of the beer has gone up significantly. Their food is great for the price and quantity not to mention the amount of options they offer. You can't beat the Wednesday night dollar pints. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the Village. It is the only brewpub left in Houston.
Perfect for good taste on a budget. Went to Tuesday $5 BIG beer $5 burger. The burger brought me to food-gasm and the beer was great and I'm not even a beer drinker. I am now in love w/ amber ales. Beware BIG beer means BIG BEER. Bring a DD or come prepared.
VILLAGE BREWERY. WONDERFUL FOOD...i love the pizza and burgers! plan to hang out for a bit.. enjoy the atmosphere... TwoRows is a huge restaurant and the ONLY BREWERY IN HOUSTON. there is a SPECIAL EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK! non smoking indoors, including the bar, but the patio is huge and wraps around the side! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Village!
I will never go again. Waitress overcharged my credit card..
Good thing I keep my receipts and check them with my credit card statement. I recently found out that I was overcharged on my credit card. The bill with tip came out to 21$ yet i was charged 26$ on my credit card, basically the waitress gave herself an extra 5$ tip.
I called Two Rows many times, no one replied. I even left several voice mails to the managers, my phone number and name, date of the transaction and the waitress' name but I have not heard back from them. Some customer service! I finally did an inquiry with the credit card company told them I was overcharged, they credited my account the extra 5$ i was overcharged, but Two Rows has lost a customer. Friends too have stopped going now that they heard you might get ripped off there. We're never going there again. If you go, I suggest you pay with cash and definetely keep all your receipts and write down the actual tip you gave.
HORRIBLE food!!!!. I ordered the Vegi plate, and the zuccinni and squash were so mushy that it really looked and tasted like baby food! It was horrible! I couldn't believe the "chef" would put something like this on my plate! Then the rest of the vegi's were raw and cold, like they didn't even attempt to cook/steam them! This is not the first time the food was unacceptable either, but this was the final straw. I think my days of going to Two Rows is limited. There are way too many other good places to eat in the Village to waist my money and time there.
Recommended for a good time.
It's friday night and you and your friends have nothing to do..... go to Two Rows!
This restaurant is a great hang out spot, not somewhere you would take a date. But what a great place to go with friends. My only complaint is that the Hostesess were so rude! They're noses up in the air, shooting dirty looks, and dressed like they were going to a high school house party.
Other than that our server was friendly the food was okay and the beer sampler AWESOME!
A group of friends and I went to Two Rows because we heard that it was a great hang out place. We waited at the "Please wait for the hostess to seat you" sign for 20 minutes without seeing anyone who worked there. We decided to head to the bar and just grab a table in the bar area. We got drinks at the bar from a girl who confused rolling her eyes with smiling and sat down at a table. We never saw a waiter. After about 25-30 minutes we asked a 'porch waiter' to send the 'bar waiter' our way. After 20 more minutes I asked the girl at the bar if there was a waiter in the bar area. She said there was. I told her that we hadn't been waited on and all she did was shrug her shoulders. They closed 5 minutes later (at midnight). We were in there for over 2 hours, never saw a waiter, and had only one drink that we got ourselves.
Terrible experience. Rude people. No service.
If I'd work like that, I'd never get any tips..
Service is terrible.
We ordered chips and salsa, it took 25 minutes and 4 reminders to bring it. How hard is that? You don't even need to cook anything.
The girl didn't even smiled to us once, or said "how are you? ".
It was my first and last time there.
Lost the recipe.
Two rows use to have great beer. Now it's WATERED DOWN and TASTELESS. The service what can
I say about the service "what service" SLOW & SORRY. Food when it was finally brought to the table,
no silverware or napkins, had to ask a busboy for them because the waiter was nowhere to be found.
This place use to be great, but now they are cutting way too many corners. I would recommend going
to the store and buying a good micro brew and stay at home and grill something on the pit and watch
sports on your own TV. It will be sooooo much better than wasting your money at this place!
